Bell Medias TSN and RDS and the Formula One group announced today that they have reached a new multi-year partnership, which allows Canadas #1 English and French specialty networks to retain exclusive media rights to all Grand Prix races, across all platforms, through to 2019. Mason Rudolph Jersey . This includes exclusive coverage of the FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX DU CANADA – the most-watched motorsport event on Canadian soil. This is the second major rights deal announced by TSN and RDS today, as the Bell Media networks also confirmed a new, expanded partnership with the United States Golf Association for Canadian coverage of the U.S. OPEN.  The announcement comes on the heels of this past weekends widely successful FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX DU CANADA 2014 – where it was confirmed the popular race will remain at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in Montréal for the next decade. With the new Formula 1 deal beginning next season, TSN and RDS will continue to broadcast all races, as well as qualifying and practice sessions and encore presentations. "We are very pleased to have renewed our long-standing partnership with RDS and TSN and I look forward to continuing to work with them to bring Formula 1 racing to fans across Canada," said Bernie Ecclestone, CEO, the Formula One group. "Formula 1 has an incredibly wide, loyal and passionate Canadian fan base, and we are thrilled to extend the wonderfully successful partnership we have had with the Formula 1 team for more than 20 years. This extension speaks volumes about the meaningful relationships we build with our partners and the world-class spotlight we shine on Formula 1," said Gerry Frappier, President of RDS. "This agreement also underscores our status as Canadas leading sports networks and bolsters our commitment to bring Canadians the most prestigious events in sports." Jon Bostic Jersey . A day after FIFA Secretary General Jerome Valcke said three stadiums would not be ready in time for the Dec. 31 deadline, Brazilian officials said they actually plan to deliver all six remaining venues after that date. They claim only three are delayed, with the other three being handed over after the expected date only because of problems accommodating the schedule of Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff, who wants to be present for the ceremonies. Custom Pittsburgh Steelers Jerseys . Kerber will next play Estonias Kaia Kanepi, who beat American qualifier Victoria Duval 6-1, 6-3. In other first-round matches, Lucie Safarova beat 2010 French Open champion Francesca Schiavone 6-4, 6-4 and American Bethanie Mattek-Sands had a 6-4, 6-3 win over Canadas Eugenie Bouchard.OAKLAND, Calif. - Jordan Lyles was more nervous watching the last two innings than he was pitching the first seven. He finally relaxed after Chia-Jen Lo got the final out. Lyles won for the first time in nearly two months, Brandon Barnes doubled twice and drove in two runs, and the Houston Astros beat the Oakland Athletics 5-4 Tuesday night to snap a six-game losing streak. "It was nerve-racking in here watching the game," Lyles said. "Me and a few other guys were going a little crazy. Its way more nerve-racking to watch a game youve pitched in than to be out there." Lyles had to wait out a possible game-winning home run before he could breathe easy. With a runner on first base in the ninth, Chris Young hit an 0-1 pitch from Lo down the left field line. The ball curved just outside the foul pole and third base umpire Doug Eddings immediately ruled it foul. After As manager Bob Melvin came out to argue the call, the four umpires went underneath the stands to review the play before confirming the original ruling. "I was able to see it a couple times on replay and knew we were OK," Lyles said. Juan Castro singled in the fifth to extend his hitting streak to a career-high 11 games, scored a run and added a sacrifice fly for Houston. Matt Dominguez added two hits, including one of four doubles off As starter Bartolo Colon, who lost in his second bid to become the first pitcher in major league history to win 15 games with four American League teams. "I knew if the ball goes foul, we had a chance to win," Barnes said. "Any time you put up a good game, beat up the startiing pitcher a little bit and get into the bullpen, you have a chance. Terrell Edmunds Jersey. " The Astros had dropped 11 of the first 12 games this season between the division rivals before knocking Colon (14-5) out of the game early and holding off a late rally. "The first couple of times we faced him we were still trying to figure him out," Barnes said. "It definitely helped to have seen him before." Lyles (5-6) sailed through his first career appearance against the As. He gave up five hits, allowed only one runner past second base and got Oakland to ground into two double plays. That ended an eight-start winless skid for the Houston right-hander, who had been 0-5 since his last victory on June 18. "Its been awhile for me personally," Lyles said. "It was nice to get seven innings. I havent done that for a while. Overall I was attacking the zone, keeping the ball down." Houstons bullpen made Lyles sweat it out. Lo recorded the final four outs for his first career save. Barnes got into a lengthy battle with Colon in the second before doubling in Castro and Dominguez to put the Astros up 2-0. After Castro and former As first baseman Chris Carter drove in runs in the third, Barnes doubled again leading off the fourth and scored on a double play to make it 5-0. NOTES: Eight of Houstons nine starters had at least one hit. ... Castro returned to the Astros lineup after sitting out two games with a hip injury. ... The Astros sent RHP Jorge DeLeon to Triple-A Oklahoma City after the game and recalled IF Marwin Gonzalez. ... Barnes was 3 for 27 entering the night. Cheap Arizona Cardinals Jerseys Cheap Falcons Jerseys Cheap Ravens Jerseys Cheap Bills Jerseys Cheap Panthers Jerseys Cheap Bears Jerseys Cheap Bengals Jerseys Cheap Browns Jerseys Cheap Cowboys JerseysCheap Broncos Jerseys Cheap Lions Jerseys Cheap Packers Jerseys Cheap Texans Jerseys Cheap Colts Jerseys Cheap Jaguars Jerseys Cheap Chiefs Jerseys ' ' '

BRUSSELS, Belgium -- Dries Mertens scored one minute from time as Belgium scrapped to a 1-0 victory over Tunisia in its final preparation game for the World Cup on Saturday. Chris Herndon Jets Jersey . The match was interrupted for about 40 minutes after a severe hail storm forced players off the field in the first half. After a successful preparation campaign highlighted by a 5-1 victory over Luxembourg and a 2-0 win in Sweden, Belgium coach Marc Wilmots sought safety first for the send-off game against Tunisia. He kept Romelu Lukaku on the bench until the 61st minute after the striker had already proven his form with four goals in the last two games. He also experimented in midfield by keeping expected World Cup starters Axel Witsel and Kevin De Bruyne sidelined. Tunisia was reduced to 10 men after 63 minutes when Issam Jemaa was sent off for a second yellow card for grabbing Vincent Kompanys shirt. Belgium dominated but lacked the cutting edge and had only a few shots at goal until Mertens slotted home after being set up by Nacer Chadlis pass. Belgium plays Russia, South Korea and Algeria in Group H. Cairo Santos Jets Jersey . A broadcast source said the deal is for five years. The agreement calls for a minimum of 17 regular-season games as well as the East and West Division finals being broadcast annually on ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNEWS. Custom New York Jets Jerseys . Bunbury scored in the in 92nd minute, and Lee Nguyen scored from the spot in the 95th minute to keep the Revolution unbeaten (2-0-1) at home this season. Kansas City went down to 10 men in the 74th minute when Aurelien Collin was red carded for a hard challenge on Diego Fagundez near the box. It marked the second straight game the Revolution benefited from an opponents red card. The Revolution broke through two minutes into stoppage time when Bunbury redirected Diego Fagundezs pass out of the reach of keeper Eric Kronberg. Fagundez set up the second goal when he broke free and attempted to slip it through. But after his inittial effort was denied by Kronberg, his subsequent header was handled by Uri Rossel, and a penalty was given to the Revolution. Trumaine Johnson Jets Jersey. Moments later, Nguyen scored. The Revolution snapped a six-game regular season winless streak (0-3-3) against Sporting Kansas City. They also scored their first goal against Kansas City since a 1-1 draw on July 30, 2011. The Revolution have yet to give up a home goal this season through 270 minutes. Saturdays clash was a rematch of last years Eastern Conference semifinal series between the longtime MLS sides. Kansas City overtook the Revolution 4-3 on aggregate before going on to win the MLS Cup championship. otherwise memorable night for the San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO -- Giants pitcher Madison Bumgarner wanted to waste a two-strike curveball in front of Rockies cleanup hitter Justin Morneau. Marshall Faulk Colts Jersey . He left the ball up just enough for Morneau to get a piece of it -- the only mistake on an otherwise memorable night for the San Francisco left-hander. Bumgarner pitched a one-hitter and matched his career high of 13 strikeouts, and the Giants beat the Rockies 3-0 on Tuesday night to snap a three-game losing streak. The two-time All-Star retired the first 21 batters before Morneau doubled down the right field line to end the bid for perfection. That was the only baserunner Bumgarner (15-9) gave up. He fanned the next three hitters. "I was going to try to bounce a curveball," Bumgarner said. "I think it would have probably bounced if he (wouldnt have) hit it. Hes a good hitter and he was in there being aggressive. He happened to hit it pretty good. No regrets on throwing it." San Franciscos husky left-hander was attempting to follow Tim Lincecums no-hitter at AT&T Park on June 25 against San Diego with another milestone for a sellout crowd of 41,050 on a pristine Bay Area evening. His 103-pitch gem kept the Giants in a wild-card spot. Matt Cain is the last Giants pitcher to throw a perfect game, on June 13, 2012. "That game was probably more impressive than a lot of no-hitters, thats how well he threw tonight," San Francisco manager Bruce Bochy said. "You look at the strikeouts, his stuff, the command ... it was a very, very impressive evening for him." Buster Posey homered twice for San Francisco. The hapless Rockies came close to breaking up Bumgarners bid for perfection in the top of the fifth. Matt McBride was thrown out by shortstop Brandon Crawford on a close play at first base. Colorado manager Walt Weiss came out to dispute the call but did not ask for a replay after getting a signal from his dugout. Drew Stubbs hit a deep fly to left in the first, but Gregor Blanco made the catch near the wall. Colorado didnt come close to getting a hit otherwise. "Its unfortunate we had to lose," Morneau said. "It was a pitchers duel and they found a way to score some runs and we didnt." Its Bumgarners third career shutout and sixth complete game. He also became the first pitcher in franchise history with six games of 10-plus strikeouts with no walks. The Giants didnt do much offensively either until Poseys two-run home run in the sixth chased Rockies starter Jorge De La Rosa. Hunter Pence drew a leadoff walk before Posey smashed a 3-1 pitch into the stands in left-centre. Posey also homered in the eighth off reliever Brooks Brown. Its the second multi-homer game of Poseys career. De La Rosa (13-9) struck out five and walked two in five-plus innings before leaving with a bruised left thumb he hurt while batting. "He was cruising," Weiss said. "Weve seen him hurt that thumb before and hes pitched through it a lot. It was hurting pretty good." TRAINERS ROOM Rockies: C Wilin Rosario missed his fourth straight game with a sore wrist. Rosario has done some light hitting in the cage, but the team has not ruled out placing him on the disabled list. Giants: Team officials were still awaiting word on backup catcher Hector Sanchez, who flew to Pittsburgh on Monday to meet with a concussion specialist. UP NEXT Rockies: LHP Franklin Morales (5-7) pitches the series finale and is making his second start since a two-inning relief appearance against Cincinnati on Aug. 17. Giants: RHP Tim Hudson (9-9) has a 4.35 ERA in 13 career starts against Colorado. Josh Ferguson Colts Jersey . The Rays hope to stay alive for the postseason and salvage the finale of this series Sunday at Rogers Centre, where they dropped a 7-2 decision Saturday. Chris Archer lasted 2 1/3 innings in the no-decision, charged with a run and five hits, and Alex Torres suffered the loss in relief. Eric Ebron Jersey .com) - The Chicago Cubs reportedly signed recently-acquired outfielder Dexter Fowler to a one-year contract on Friday, avoiding arbitration.Arizona Cardinals 1 (27) - Deone Bucannon, SS, Washington State; 2 (52) - Troy Niklas, TE, Notre Dame; 3 (84) - Kareem Martin, DE, North Carolina; 3 (91) - John Brown, WR, Pittsburg State; 5 (160) Ed Stinson, DE, Alabama; 6 (196) - Walt Powell, WR, Murray State Top Picks Analysis: Arizona traded down seven spots and went with safety Deone Bucannon, who was rated as a second-round prospect by most. The choice could mean the Cards are concerned with the health of emerging second-year player Tyrann Mathieu, who tore both his ACL and LCL in December of last season. Bucannon is bigger and faster than the two top-rated safeties in this draft -- Calvin Pryor and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix -- but he is not as far along. If Mathieu is healthy, though, he and Bucannon could be a top-level pairing on the back end for years. Tight end Troy Niklas is another talented but raw prospect who would have benefited from another year at Notre Dame. His frame and functional-football strength says he could develop into the best blocking tight end in football but he is a 270-pound guy who wants to be a receiving tight end. Blame the current NFL culture for that. At 6-foot-6 North Carolina defensive end Kareem Martin is a lengthy player who could be the eventual replacement for Calais Campbell. Best Value Pick: The Cards needed the heir apparent for veteran quarterback Carson Palmer and they got a nice developmental prospect in the fourth round in former Virginia Tech star Logan Thomas. Thomas has a first-round skill set but really failed to develop in Blacksburg. With sound and patient coaching, however, he has the talent to be a starter in this league. Questionable Call: Arizona saw the safety position as a need but Bucannon, despite his upside as a player, was not worthy of a first-round grade. Summary: The Cardinals snared three eventual starters in the meat of the draft (Bucannon, Niklas and Martin), and added a solid developmental prospect at quarterback (Thomas). FINAL GRADE: B Undrafted rookie free agent signings: WR Kevin Smith, Washington; DL Justin Renfrow, Miami; OT Kelvin Palmer, Baylor; LB Glenn Carson, Penn State; LB Jonathan Brown, Illinois; CB Todd Washington, Southeast Louisiana; CB Brandon Sermons, UCLA; OL Kadeem Williams, Albany; RB Zach Bauman, Northern Arizona; WR Corey Washington, Newberry; G Anthony Steen, Alabama; RB Tim Cornett, UNLV WR Kelsey Pope, Samford; S Craig Loston, LSU; K Chandler Cantanzaro, Clemson St. Louis Rams 1 (2) - Greg Robinson, OT, Auburn; 1 (13) - Aaron Donald, DT, Pittsburgh; 2 (41) - Lamarcus Joyner, DB, Florida State; 3 (75) - Tre Mason, RB, Auburn; 4 (110) - Mo Alexander, SS, Utah State; 6 (188) - E.J. Gaines, CB, Missouri; 6 (214) - Garrett Gilbert, QB, SMU; 7 (226) - Mitchell Van Dyk, OT, Portland State; 7 (241) - C.B. Bryant, FS, Ohio State; 7 (249) - Michael Sam, DE, Missouri; 7 (250) - Demetrius Rhaney, OC, Tennessee State Top Picks Analysis: The Rams were expected to tab the drafts best offensive tackle in Greg Robinson at No. 2 overall but they followed that up by snaring the best defensive tackle with the 13th pick, Pittsburgh three-technique Aaron Donald. Robinson is so athletic that many project him as the next Orlando Pace in St. Louis, while Donald is a bit undersized but has such great quickness that some have compared him to John Randle, the former Minnesota Vikings star who is now enshrined in Canton. Teaming Donald, who should have been a top-10 pick, with ends like Robert Quinn, perhaps the best pass rusher in all of football, and Chris Long is sure to give Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick some sleepless nights in the ultra-tough NFC West. "Were a lot better now," Rams coach Jeff Fisher said. "We all know what Greg (Robinson) is capable of doing. Hes an outstanding young man. Well plug him in where we feel hes got the best chance to be successful right now. We dont know exactly where that is, but he may start out inside before we move him back outside. You talk about an athlete. Powerful, quick, great quickness and strength. Hes got a chance to be a dominant player inside initially. "Then of course, Aaron (Donald) is very, very productive; hes an outstanding young man. Hes way ahead in hand use on the line of scrimmage. He does an outstanding job with his hands." St, Louis was also able to add talented Florida State cornerback Lamarcus Joyner, who should project in the nickel right away, in the second round, and Auburn runner Tre Mason, a very solid north-south runner, in the third. Best Value Pick: Its tough to call the 13th overall pick value because he is supposed to be good but Donald was probably the sixth best player in this draft. Questionable Calls: Michael Sam might have been a big story to the national media but at the end of the day, the Missouri defensive end is a classic tweener, lacking the length to be an impact player at defensive end and the lateral mobility to play in space as an outside linebacker. Summary: Robinson became the eighth player taken by the Rams with the picks acquired from the Robert Griffin III tradde and he may end up being the best of them all. Kemoko Turay Jersey. Meanwhile, Donald has Pro-Bowler written all over him, while Joyner and Mason could be contributors in short order. FINAL GRADE: A Undrafted rookie free agent signings: TE Alex Bayer, Bowling Green; CB Jarrid Bryant, South Dakota; LB Johnny Millard, Cal Poly; DE Ethan Westbrooks, West Texas A&M; FB Kadeem Jones, Western Kentucky; LB Aaron Hill, Minnesota; WR Jamain Sherman, East Texas Baptist; S Avery Cunningham, Central Michigan; WR Austin Franklin, New Mexico State; LB Emmanuel McCray, Ole Miss; RB Trey Watts, Tulsa San Francisco 49ers 1 (30) - Jimmie Ward, SS, Northern Illinois; 2 (57) - Carlos Hyde, RB, Ohio State; 3 (70) - Marcus Martin, OC, USC; 3 (77) Chris Borland, ILB, Wisconsin; 3 (100) - Brandon Thomas, OG, Clemson; 4 (106) - Bruce Ellington, WR, South Carolina; 4 (129) - Dontae Johnson, CB, North Carolina State; 5 (150) - Aaron Lynch, DE, South Florida; 5 (170) - Keith Reaser, CB, Florida Atlantic; 6 (180) - Kenneth Acker, CB, SMU; 7 (243) - Kaleb Ramsey, DE, Boston College; 7 (245) - Trey Millard, FB, Oklahoma Top Picks Analysis: Trent Baalke and Jim Harbaugh might not like each other personally but come draft time the 49ers GM and head coach sure make beautiful music together. San Francisco has another excellent draft despite starting out at No. 30 overall, where they took Northern Illinois playmaking safety Jimmie Ward, a natural center fielder who must overcome a few durability issues, to team with lat years first-round pick, Eric Reid, in the teams defensive backfield. With their second-round pick the Niners snared one of the best pure runners in the draft, Ohio States Carlos Hyde, a 6-foot, 230-pound mauler between the tackles. "The 49ers like to bludgeon people running the football. Thats what Hyde can do," NFL Network Draft analyst Charles Davis said. The third round is where Baalke and Harbaugh scored really big, though, snaring three excellent choices -- USC center Marcus Martin, perhaps the best pure pivot in the process, Wisconsin inside linebacker Chris Borland, who could hold down the fort while NaVorro Bowman recovers from his gruesome leg injury, and Clemson guard Brandon Thomas, who had a second-round grade before recently tearing his ACL. Best Value Pick: Thomas won one of the better guard prospects in this draft before tearing his ACL during a pre-draft workout with New Orleans. The Niners are talented enough to redshirt him for a year -- just like they did with Tank Carradine and Marcus Lattimore in 2013 -- and wait for his ceiling as a player. Questionable Calls: Still waiting for one. Summary: There is a reason San Francisco has been the most talented team in football from one through 53 for three years running and it all starts on draft day. FINAL GRADE: A Undrafted rookie free agent signings: QB Kory Faulkner, Southern Illinois; DE Morgan Breslin, USC; S L.J. McCray, Catawba; TE Asante Cleveland, Miami; LB Shayne Skov, Stanford; C Dillon Farrell, New Mexico; OT Fou Fonoti, Michigan State Seattle Seahawks 2 (45) - Paul Richardson, WR, Colorado; 2 (64) Justin Britt, OT, Missouri; 4 (108) - Cassius Marsh, DE, UCLA; 4 (123) - Kevin Norwood, WR, Alabama; 4 (132) - Kevin Pierre-Louis, OLB, Boston College; 5 (172) - Jimmy Staten, DT, Middle Tennessee State; 6 (199) - Garrett Scott, OL, Marshall; 6 (208) - Eric Pinkins, FS, San Diego State; 7 (227) - Kiero Small, RB, Arkansas; Top Picks Analysis: The Super Bowl champs probably deserve the benefit of the doubt but their draft didnt look all productive, especially early on. The Seahawks traded out of the first round before reaching for undersized speed threat Paul Richardson at wide receiver in the second. Richardson is a one-trick pony who can run by just about everyone but the least physical corner in the game could maul him at the line of scrimmage. Turn around the classic cliche when talking about Richardson in the NFL, hes a boy among men. The teams other second-round pick, Missouri tackle Justin Britt, was certainly a selection at a need position but he was given a late-round grade by most scouts. Britt isnt very physical and spent most of his time working out of a 2-point stance in a spread-option offense at Mizzou. Best Value Pick: Alabama WR Kevin Norwood, a fourth-round pick, has a better chance to help this team than Richardson. Norwood has some size at 6-foof-2 and should be able to help on special teams right away. Questionable Calls: Call it a tie between Richardson and Britt, a pair of second-rounders who shouldnt have been breached in the conversation until the third day. Summary: Call it a Super Bowl hangover. Two of the best in the business -- Seahawks GM John Schneider and head coach Pete Carroll -- came up empty this time around. FINAL GRADE: D Undrafted rookie free agent signings: S Dion Bailey, USC; LB Brock Coyle, Montana; TE Chase Dixon, Central Arkansas; QB Keith Price, Washington; OT Garry Gilliam, Penn State; OT Andu Pulu, Eastern Michigan; DE Jackson Jeffcoat, Texas; OG Bronson Irwin, Oklahoma; CB Jimmy LeGree, South Carolina China Jerseys Wholesale Cheap Jerseys Throwback China NFL Hoodies NFL Jerseys Cheap Cheap NFL Autographed Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Jerseys From China ' ' '

completed an amazing year for the English

AGADIR, Morocco - Charley Hull of England closed with a 9-under 62 and won a playoff on the first extra hole on the Ladies European Tour for her first professional victory one week before her 18th birthday. Mike McGlinchey 49ers Jersey . The win in the Lalla Meryem Cup completed an amazing year for the English teenager. She had five runner-up finishes, became the youngest member of Europes winning Solheim Cup team and was rookie of the year on the tour. Hull rallied from five shots behind against Gwladys Nocera of France in the final round at Golf de lOcean. Nocera three-putted the par-3 18th for bogey and a 67 that allowed for a playoff. Returning to the 18th, Hull hit a tee shot to 4 feet for birdie. Nocera missed her birdie attempt from 15 feet. Korey Toomer 49ers Jersey . - Canadian tennis star Eugenie Bouchard has signed with WME-IMG, saying the sports management powerhouse will help maximize the value of my brand. Frank Gore Jersey . Jamies number grades given are out of five, with five being the best mark. Corey Crawford, Chicago Blackhawks (4) – Crawfords third period save on Zach Parise is exactly what he is all about, timely save to preserve the lead. His positioning has been excellent, efficient and confident. Hes not chasing the puck, not opening up and he just makes it look easy when hes feeling it. His biggest strength comes in his ability to read plays. Ilya Bryzgalov, Minnesota Wild (3) – Bryzgalov didnt receive help on any of the three goals he gave up.  Jonathon Toews goal is a prime example of that; great save on Hossa, only to have Toewws jam in rebound. San Francisco 49ers Jerseys. Bryzgalov made some real good saves on Hossa, Bickell and Saad to give his team a chance today, however Minnesota was simply not very sharp.  Marc-Andre Fleury (5) – Fleury made good saves early on the penalty kill on Pouliot, Moore, and overall, made great scramble plays in the crease all night long. He was very strong handling the puck tonight with both his decision making and exchanges with D-men tonight. Henrik Lundqvist (4) – Lundqvist made big saves on Kunitz, Sutter, Crosby, Bennett and Sutter tonight and had no chance on the goals against. He was the only reason this was two-goal game (outside the empty-netter). ck, who played at the University of M

HOUSTON - Houston rookie Tarik Black was booed in his hometown of Memphis when the Rockets played there earlier this season. New England Patriots Jerseys .On Wednesday night, Black got plenty of cheers in helping the Rockets to a 105-96 win over the Grizzlies.Black, who played at the University of Memphis, started in place of injured Dwight Howard and had 10 points and a season-high 11 rebounds for the first double-double of his young NBA career. He said it felt good to have a big game against the Grizzlies. It did, especially because of the talent they have on that team and how high-calibre of a team it is, he said. To go out there and perform well against them makes it that much better. Them being my hometown, obviously I want to perform well against them because people are watching back home.James Harden scored 21 points, and Trevor Ariza and Jason Terry added 16 each to help the short-handed Rockets cruise to victory. The Grizzlies (15-3) had won five in a row, and their two previous losses this season had been by a combined five points.Memphis jumped out to an 8-0 lead in this one but couldnt do much after that. Houston didnt trail after the first quarter.Mike Conley had 15 points and six assists for Memphis, but also had five of the teams 20 turnovers. Things were much different Wednesday than in the first game against Houston this season which the Grizzlies won 119-93.A lot of it was effort, he said. They wanted it a little bit more it seems like tonight. They went after loose balls and offensive rebounds were a big one. They were making all the hustle plays, and those are things that last time we played we won that battle. The Rockets led by 12 at halftime and scored the first 10 points of the third quarter to put the game out of reach. The Rockets led 94-68 entering the fourth quarter and neither teams starters played much after that.Houston was without three starters, including Howard who missed his seventh straight game with a strained right knee.Harden was proud of the way Houstons reserves helped in the win.Guys stepped up, Harden said. Everybody played a role (Wednesday) and contributed to the team in a positive way.The Grizzlies rediscovered their offence after Houston scored the first 10 points of the third quarter, with Conley breaking an almost four-minute scoring drought with a jump shot with less than 10 minutes left in the quarter. It was the start of an 8-2 run by Memphis, powered by six points from Conley, to cut the lead to 70-54.But they were soon back in their offensive doldrums, with Conley committing turnovers on back-to-back possessions after the Grizzlies missed consecutive 3-pointers. Houston scored nine straight points and made it 79-54 midway through the third. The Rockets were up by eight points in the second quarter before a 10-2 spurt made it 55-39.Mark Gasol received a technical foul soon after that for slamming the ball down after being called for a charge. Harden made the free throw before a layup by Black left Houston up 58-40.The Grizzlies scored the final six points of the quarter to cut the lead to 58-46 at halftime.Joey Dorsey added seven points and eight rebounds to help Black inside with Howard out.TIP-INSGrizzlies: Gasol tied a season-low with eight points. He said after the game that he bruised his right knee. ... Former Rockets player Courtney Lee scored a season-low four points.Rockets: Coach Kevin McHale said Patrick Beverley, who has been out five games with a hamstring injury, probably wont play until next Wednesday, and that Howard will be out at least through the weekend. ... There is no timetable for the return of F Terrence Jones, who has missed the last 14 games with nerve damage in his left leg.PICK UP THE PACE: Memphis coach Dave Joerger said one of the reasons for his teams great start to the season is that the Grizzlies are playing at a faster pace this year. He said he didnt really talk to them about changing it too much, but simply gave the players a gentle nudge in that direction. He has seen the change help in many ways. Were getting easier shots earlier in the clock, Joerger said. Were not playing up against the clock as much (but) the bigger thing for us is how efficient we are.UP NEXTGrizzlies: Host San Antonio on Friday.Rockets: At Minnesota on Friday. Kenny Britt Jersey . Grilli hasnt pitched since straining his left oblique in late April. Manager Clint Hurdle says the right-hander will make a couple of appearances in middle relief before the team determines whether to return Grilli to the back end of the bullpen. Troy Niklas Patriots Jersey . Right-hander Todd Redmond took the loss. Jose Bautista hit his second home run of the spring. Here are a handful of tidbits from around camp: Hutchison impressive The Blue Jays are being cautious when talking about their young arms but internally, excitement is building over the way Drew Hutchison is looking and performing this spring. ABBOTSFORD, B.C. -- Turner Elson put up a lot of points in junior, but it was his first professional goal that ignited the Abbotsford Heat Friday night. Elson scored with 4.6 seconds to go in the second period to even the score against the Milwaukee Admirals, contributing to the Heats 3-2 overtime victory in American Hockey League action. "It was obviously the turning point of the game," said Abbotsford head coach Troy Ward. "If we go down after two, its a different game. It certainly gave us some momentum and gave our young kids some energy in the locker room. We went into the third with a different mindset after that." Brett Olson flipped the puck ahead and Elson jumped around Admirals defender Anthony Bitetto to one-hand the puck past goalie Magnus Hellberg. "I tried to get past the defenceman and I saw the goalie wasnt going out for it, and I got my stick on it and chipped it over his foot there," said Elson, who played three games over two seasons for the Heat on a tryout basis. "The first goal as a pro, its been a long time waiting," said the former Red Deer Rebel. "You dream of getting your first goal as a pro -- maybe not as greasy as mine, but they all count in the end." Greg Nemisz scored the winner at 1:58 of overtime. Corban Knight, who had two assists, rushed down the wing and found Nemisz standing in front. He redirected it past Hellberg for his first of the season. "It wasnt pretty but we got a big goal at the end there," said Heat alternate captain Carter Bancks. "Thats how you win hockey games." Ben Hanowski also scored for Abbotsford (2-1-0) in the clubs home opener. Reto Berra stopped 24 shots in the victory. "Both goalies, I thought, stole the show," said Ward. "They both made outstanding saves and took some pucks away from guys that maybe they thoughtt they could squeeze by. Danny Shelton Jersey. Reto battled very hard to find pucks, which was key." Patrick Cehlin had a goal and an assist for the Admirals in their season opener, while Taylor Beck also scored for Milwaukee. Magnus Hellberg made 28 saves. After a scoreless first period, the visitors drew first blood while shorthanded. Austin Watson stole the puck from Abbotsfords Chad Billins behind the net and centred for Cehlin, who slid a backhand around Berras poke check attempt at 6:45. The Heat took their first lead of the game at 13:11 of the third when Hanowski went top shelf from in close. He began the play by hounding a Milwaukee defenceman into giving the puck away to Knight, who found Josh Jooris down low. Jooris quickly tapped it across to Hanowski for his third of the season. "One of the things Ben has been able to do his whole career -- high school and St. Cloud State -- is score goals," said Ward. "He seems to be fitting into that same role here. Hes off to a good start. Hes had key goals for us. It was a good pass by Jooris, but still, its a goal scorers goal when you tuck it under the bar short side there." The Admirals tied the game a little more than two minutes later. After a point shot bounced off a few bodies in front, the puck squirted right to Beck, who lifted it over the sprawling netminder for his first goal of the season. However, Beck got called for a tripping penalty in overtime and the Heat took advantage. "It was definitely big for our team," said Knight. "We had a good push in the third and got that goal, and then they scored to get us back on our heels. It was important to push back, especially in overtime, to get that goal. It would have been disappointing if we didnt get that win tonight." Abbotsford finished 1-for-7 with the man advantage, while Milwaukee was 0-for-4. Wholesale Nike NFL Jerseys Wholesale NFL Jerseys Cheap Stitched Jerseys Wholesale NFL Camo Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Stitched Jerseys Cheap Jerseys Online ' ' '

LOS ANGELES -- Jonathan Quick and the Los Angeles Kings have returned from the Olympic break with a revitalized game and a sharpened playoff focus. Ken Giles Astros Jersey . The Carolina Hurricanes have neither, and they realize theyre running out of time to get it. Alec Martinez scored the tiebreaking goal on a power play with 11:45 to play, Quick made 24 saves, and the Kings beat the Hurricanes 3-1 Saturday for their third victory in four days since the break. Mike Richards scored his second goal since late November and Justin Williams added an empty-net goal for Los Angeles, which has roared out of the break with three wins in three cities in about 70 hours. The low-scoring Kings put up eight goals at Colorado and Calgary before holding off Carolina in their return to Staples Center. After five scoreless power plays in the first two periods, the Kings finally converted on their sixth. Captain Dustin Brown got the puck behind the Carolina net and fed it to Martinez, who blasted a shot from the slot for his first goal since Jan. 9. "Its no secret we werent happy with our game before the break started," Martinez said. "We worked on a lot of things, and we knew that when we came back, this would be crunch-time, playoff hockey." After two straight trips to the Western Conference finals and a Stanley Cup championship in 2012, the Kings know a few things about post-season grit -- and they know theyll need it just to reach the playoffs this time. Los Angeles had a 1-8-1 stretch shortly before the Olympic break, falling back to the pack in the conference playoff race. The Kings are thoroughly revived after their time off and an eventful Olympics, which included gold medals for Drew Doughty and Jeff Carter along with two surprising victories for Slovenia and Anze Kopitar. The rest of the Kings got several days off and several more days of practice, and both appear to be paying off. "Weve got to bring our best every night right now," Quick said. The Kings have won four straight overall, and Quick appears to be in top form after starting for the U.S. Olympic team in Sochi. He followed up his shutout of the Flames on Thursday with another strong performance against the Canes, including a handful of spectacular saves over the final two periods. Andrej Sekera scored and Anton Khudobin stopped 28 shots for the Hurricanes, who have lost three straight on their five-game road trip out of the break. Carolina has lost four straight overall, and the Hurricanes must visit NHL-leading Anaheim and powerful San Jose over the next three days. "We didnt have a lot of good scoring chances, but the ones we did, we didnt capitalize on them," Carolina coach Kirk Muller said. "Weve played nine periods now (since the break), and I think were happy with seven of the nine, but we havent gotten any points. Were playing hard and playing well defensively, but were not generating the offence we need to get ahead in these games." Carolina played without forward Alexander Semin, who was scratched with a lower-body injury. The Russian Olympian was hurt Thursday at Dallas, but might return Sunday in Anaheim. "Hes one of our best players, so it hurts having him out," Carolina centre Riley Nash said. "But guys have to fill (the void)." Los Angeles had a fruitless 4-on-3 advantage for 1:09 during the first period, but went ahead in the final minute on a sharp-angled shot by Richards, the veteran centre whose scoring touch has deserted him this season. The goal was his first in 13 games since Jan. 18 and just his second in 37 games since Nov. 25. The Hurricanes tied it up just 41 seconds later on a goal by Sekera. The Slovak Olympians floating shot banked off Kings defenceman Robyn Regehr and beat Quick with 15 seconds left in the first. "We played well and didnt give them a whole lot," Nash said. "It just seems like were finding ways not to win games and not to get points." NOTES: Carolina visited Staples Center for the first time since Oct. 21, 2010. ... Carolina D Jay Harrison was a healthy scratch. He had played in 13 straight games. ... Los Angeles scratched C Jordan Nolan and dressed young F Tanner Pearson for his 10th career NHL game. ... Wayne Gretzky watched from a seat on the glass. Craig Biggio Astros Jersey . -- Arizona came out of its last meeting with California a bit discombobulated, hurting from its first loss and the loss of forward Brandon Ashley for the rest of the season. Josh Reddick Jersey . Bibeau, Torontos sixth-round pick at No. 172 overall in last years draft, was named the outstanding goaltender of the 2014 MasterCard Memorial Cup.DALLAS - The Brooklyn Nets waited until they got to the locker room to dump ice water on coach Jason Kidd after his victorious return to Dallas. They presumably didnt want to make a mess of the court where he was essentially a coach between the lines for the Mavericks when they won the franchises only title in 2011. Joe Johnson scored 22 points, including the tying layup in regulation and the go-ahead 3-pointer in overtime, to lead the Nets past the Mavericks 107-104 Sunday night in Kidds first game as a coach in the city where his career started in 1994 and reached its peak in his second stint 17 years later. The Nets swept the two-game season series with Dallas in their first year under Kidd, who was also celebrating his 41st birthday. "Its a little wet in there," Kidd said, warning of the pile of ice surrounded by towels in the middle of the locker room floor. "You guys be careful. I dont want any media getting hurt." Marcus Thornton had 11 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter for the Nets, who won their fourth straight game and beat a Western Conference team for the fifth straight time. Monta Ellis led Dallas with 32 points, but Dirk Nowitzki finished with 10 on one of his toughest shooting nights of the season. Nowitzki hit his first shot of overtime after going 1-of-10 in regulation, but the Mavericks couldnt make any shots until it was too late in overtime. Nowitzki was 2-of-12 from the field, finishing below 42 per cent for the third time in four games as the Mavericks dropped to 2-2 on a franchise-record eight-game homestand. Both losses have been in overtime, and now Dallas faces back-to-back games against teams with much more secure playoff futures in Oklahoma City and the Los Angeles Clippers. "This is not the time to panic," said Ellis, who had four assists and four turnovers. "We still have four more home games. We are going to try to get these four." After a layup that tied the score with 9 seconds left in regulation, Johnson put the Nets up 96-93 early in overtime with a 3-pointer and answered a pair of free throws from Nowitzki with a jumper. After another miss by Nowitzki, Shaun Livingston stepped in front of a pass fromm Shawn Marion and went the distance for a layup and Brooklyns biggest lead at 100-95. Carlos Beltran Astros Jersey. Deron Williams and Paul Pierce had 15 points apiece for the Nets. The Mavericks, who led by 14 points after the first quarter and midway through the third, were up four with 44 seconds left in the regulation when Pierce hit two free throws after getting fouled by Marion. After Nowitzki shot an airball on a fadeway, Johnson drove for a layup and a 91-all tie. Ellis missed a long 3-pointer at the buzzer in regulation. Sam Dalembert had season highs of 15 rebounds and seven blocks, and he had two huge plays that werent rebounds when he was fouled trying to get the ball and made three of four free throws in the last 1:11. Dalembert scored 12 points. The Mavericks led by 14 after the first quarter and again midway through the third before the Nets made a charge with a 14-0 run to a 73-72 lead on two free throws from Williams. Thornton had consecutive 3-pointers to get Brooklyn within a point. "We just had too many lapses tonight," Dallas coach Rick Carlisle said. "A lot of them were on innocent plays when we had a lead, but, you know, in a one-possession game, those things come back to you." Devin Harris, who was traded to the Nets when Kidd returned to Dallas in 2008, came off the bench much earlier than usual after Jose Calderon was knocked out of the game just 45 seconds in by an inadvertent elbow to the face from Mason Plumlee. Calderon didnt return, and Carlisle said his status is uncertain. Harris hit three 3-pointers in the first 6 minutes and led the Mavericks with nine points in the first half. He finished with 11 points, seven rebounds and six assists in a season-high 40 minutes. NOTES: Nets F Andrei Kirilenko left in the first half with a mild left ankle sprain and didnt return. ... The Mavericks showed a clever "Shawn Marion training video" making light of an unconventional shooting style where he short-arms the ball with his right hand. Marion was laughing when he came off the bench after the timeout. ... Nets F Mirza Teletovic had nine points after getting a career-high 34 in 107-106 win at Brooklyn in late January. Wholesale Nike NFL Jerseys Wholesale NFL Jerseys Cheap Stitched Jerseys Wholesale NFL Camo Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Stitched Jerseys Cheap Jerseys Online ' ' '

There were warning signs early on for the Canadian side. An opening loss to the host Finns was the first blow, followed by a 4-0 shutout to the Swedes. Canada rebounded to blank the Czechs and the Germans, and all seemed well again. But the 2-2 start handed the Canadians a bad draw for the playoff round, as they were matched up against a strong Russian team. Maxim Afinogenov gave the Russians a 2-1 overtime win, and the demoralized Canadians packed it in for the rest of the playoffs. After falling 3-0 to the United States, Canada dropped the eighth place game to Kazakhstan and the inquisition began. The lone bright spot for Canada was goaltender Mathieu Garon, who tied a tournament record with two shutouts. In contrast, Finland hammered Kazakhstan 14-1 in their quarterfinal match and went on to defeat the Russians 2-1 in the gold medal game on an overtime goal by Niklas Hagman. Olli Jokinen scored four goals and ten points while being named the tournaments top forward. Goaltender Mika Noronen was also outstanding for Finland, especially in the final game. The top goaltender in the tournament, however, was David Aebischer. He led Switzerland to a surprising third place finish, beating the Czech Republic 4-3 in the bronze medal game. REGINA -- Ground has been broken for the stadium that will be the new home for the Canadian Football League Saskatchewan Roughriders. Jaylen Brown Celtics Jersey . Officials from the city, the province and the team were on hand as the first shovel went into the dirt at Evraz Place northwest of downtown Regina Sean Hamblin, district manager of construction company PCL Management, said it will take a few months to notice any above-ground work at the site. More than 300,000 cubic metres of dirt is to be removed over the summer -- about 25,000 truckloads of material. Regina Mayor Michael Fougere (foo-ZHAYR) said the new Mosaic Stadium will become one of the citys landmarks. The $278-million stadium is to be completed by August 2016. The design was released last month and calls for a 33,000-seat facility that can be expanded to hold 40,000 fans for special events. The stadium is to have wider seats, a sunken bowl for easier spectator access and expansive concourses. Although it is open-air, it features a translucent spectators roof that extends over the seats to provide protection from the elements. The venue is being described as "roof ready," meaning a full cover could be added at a later date. The current stadium near downtown Regina originally started as a rugby field in 1910 and is known for its old wooden-bench seating and wind exposure. Bill Russell Celtics Jersey . y cranking out 11 homers in 21 games s

Barry Bonds, for whatever you may think of him or his methods, still holds the all-time record for home runs in the month of May. Tremaine Edmunds Jersey . He slugged 17 back in May, 2001. The Jays Edwin Encarnacion has brought back memories of that prodigious feat by cranking out 11 homers in 21 games so far this month, including five in his last four games. Encarnacion has nine games left in May -- all in the homer-friendly Rogers Centre -- to take a run at Bonds mark. Thats six homers to tie or seven to break Bonds record in nine games. Not likely to happen, but not impossible either. Inspired by Encarnacions power display, I decided to go back through Blue Jays history and look at the numbers for some of the Jays all-time home run leaders. I decided to take their three peak home run seasons with the club and add them up to get a read on where Encarnacion stands. Over his past three seasons, Encarnacion has hit a total of 95 homers but that includes 17 in 2011. With 13 already this year, he can easily supplant that total and  push his three year peak to well over 100. In the mid to late 80s, the Blue Jays go-to guys for homers were Jesse Barfield and George Bell. Barfield led the American League in "round trippers" in 86 with 40 and his three-year total from 1985 through 1987 was 95; the best three-year run of his career. Bell hit a then club record 47 in 1987 and beat out the Tigers Alan Trammell for the American Leagues Most Valuable Player award. Bells peak three-year total was 102 homers. Next up the ladder is the "Crime Dog" Fred McGriff. The tall, rangy first baseman belted a three-year total of 105 homers from 1988 to 1990 before being dealt, along with Tony Fernandez, to San Diego in the most important trade in franchise history for Hall of Famer Roberto Alomar and Joe Carter. Interesting to note; McGriff went on another great three-year power run, unlike the others from 91-93 with San Diego for two-and-a-half seasons and then a half season with Atlanta. He smacked another 103 homers over that span and finished his career with 493. Joe Carter, another key player in those back-to-back World Series victories, hit an even 100 homers from 1991 through 1993. Jose Canseco had one magnificent season with the Blue Jays in 1998, where he hit 49 homers and stole 29 bases. But since it was only one season with the Jays, I dont consider him to be part of the mix in this storyline. Next up is Shawn Green. From 1997 through 1999, the tall wiry right fielder hit 93 homers, including his top total of 42 in 1999, just before he was dealt to the Dodgers for Raul Mondesi. But Green was just getting started. In L.A from 2000 to 2002, he belted 115 homers, including 49 in 2001 and 42 in 2002, but for the purposes of this story, only the Blue Jays years count. Finally, we get down to the two men who so far have had the best three-year home run in franchise history. Carlos "the Captain" Delgado hit 124 from 1999 through 200, including 44 in 99 and 41 the following season. Delgado wound up his career just 27 shy of 500 with 473. That brings us to Jose Bautista, who equaled Delgados three-year run with 124 homers from 2010 to 2012, including a franchise record 54 in 2010. So to break that obscure mark of 124 homers over a three year period, Encarnacion would have to hit 47 home runs this season. In other words, he needs 34 more over the final 114 games, including 60 at home, to be considered the elite slugger in franchise history over his peak three years. Its not a milestone many would even consider that important but it should be a fun chase to watch nonetheless.  The Blue Jays, on the strength of a 14-7 month of May, have bumped their record to four games over .500 at 26 and 22 entering Friday nights three-game set at home against West Division-leading Oakland. They already have more victories than they did over the entire months of April and May a year ago, when they went 23-32. Sad to see Texas out-right J.P Arencibia to their Triple "A" Round Rock affiliate earlier this week. In his first game with the "Express," Arencibia was the DH and went  for four with a strikeout.  Arencibias final game with the Rangers was last Friday night at Arlington, when he caught Yu Darvish.  Arencibia went without a hit in that one and Drew Hutchison out-dueled Darvish and pitched a complete game shutout.  Ironically, in Darvishs next start against Detroit on Thursday at Comerica Park, Chris Giminez - the catcher called up to replace Arencibia - came up with the first four-hit game of his career. He had never even had a three-hit game before.  Texas won 9-2, as Giminez also caught Darvish for the first time in his career and did a solid job behind the plate. All of that came on the same day the Rangers announced that Prince Fielder had opted to undergo season-ending neck surgery to have two discs fused in his neck, and 2B Jurickson Profar was likely gone for the rest of the year as well with a torn shoulder muscle. Fielder was the prized acquisition by the Rangers in the offseason in the Ian Kinsler trade with Detroit. The funny thing about that is, according to the Dallas Morning News,  Fielder had mentioned to people in Detroit he had problems with neck pain when he was still in Motown. Yet, neither team asked for physicals for either player before the deal was made. Strange to say, the least. A couple of more notes on Arencibia. Since he broke in with the Jays on that magnificent day on August 7, 2010 with two homers in that wild 17-11 victory over Tampa Bay, there are only eight players left from that roster still with the organization just 4 years later. The eight include Encarnacion, Bautista, Adam Lind, Brandon Morrow (whos on the DL), Casey Janssen, Brett Cecil and two pitchers stranded at Buffalo in Kyle Drabek and Ricky Romero. Talk about turnover! Interesting too, that one of Arencibias teammates at Round Rock is a Canadian -- 34 year old right hander Scott Richmond, who hails from BC. Richmond had a stint with the Blue Jays before Arencibia arrived. Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins is drawing ever closer in his quest to become the franchises number one hits man. He needs just 17 more to pass Hall of Famer Mike Schmidt. 16 of the Phils next 22 games are at Citizens Bank Park. The Phils have got to be hoping Rollins can reach the milestone in front of the home fans. Custom Buffalo Bills Jerseys . Hes the same player he always was, only now his efforts are being rewarded. The rookie manager has made a habit of heaping praise on others when things are going well, and accepting criticism when they arent.  But in the case of Hurtado, its what the coach is NOT saying that may be the secret to a superb run of form. Josh Allen Bills Jersey . His Chicago Blackhawks teammates werent shocked when he found it. Kanes career has been defined by his brilliance in the Blackhawks biggest moments, and his tiebreaking goal with 3:45 to play in Game 6 of the Western Conference finals will rank among the best.ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Now, this is the kind of defence Jack Del Rio wishes he could have taken into the Super Bowl. In the 3 1/2 months since Denvers 43-8 shellacking at the hands of the Seattle Seahawks, the Broncos have added DeMarcus Ware, Aqib Talib, T.J. Ward and Bradley Roby, fulfilling general manager John Elways wishes to inject more toughness into his roster. Plus, Von Miller, Kevin Vickerson, Chris Harris Jr., Rahim Moore and Derek Wolfe are all on the mend after spending that miserable night at the Meadowlands on the sideline with Del Rio. "The way we looked at it, and the way I always looked at it: When were in the moment, were going to compete with the guys we have. Next man up. Lets go, lets go get it done," Del Rio said. "We carried that motto all the way through and had a shot to win a world title. And it didnt happen. And what you do is you go back and you retool and regroup and reload and go after it again." As he did his post-mortem on Denvers season, Elway came to realize that for the Broncos to become the first team since the 1972 Miami Dolphins to win the Super Bowl a year after losing it, theyd have to toughen up. His first order of business, however, was to sign Del Rio to a two-year contract to keep him in Denver though 2015. Del Rio, who went 3-1 as interim coach last season when John Fox underwent heart surgery, was Denvers seventh defensive co-ordinator in seven seasons when he joined the Broncos in 2012 after serving as Jacksonvilles head coach from 2003-11. The Broncos ranked first in the league in several defensive categories his first season. But the injury epidemic contributed to a free-fall last year when the Broncos surrendered a whopping 24.9 points a game -- 25.3 if you count the playoffs -- which sent Elway on another off-season spending spree to plug holes. "Look, were just moving on, you know?" Del Rio said. &qquot; Two years ago we finished in the top of the league and last year, we . Josh Allen Jersey. we didnt. We like being at the top. So well work our way back. Weve got good players, good design. Were going to work hard. And we expect to be good." Del Rio was thrilled last week when Roby, the Ohio State cornerback who was ranked 14th on the Broncos draft board, slipped to them at No. 31. Hes another hard-nosed, tough-minded player who can add that edge Elways looking for. After watching him at the Broncos rookie minicamp over the weekend, Del Rio said Robys "very bright." "Hes a good communicator in the meetings and all that and then coming out on the field," he added. "And hes gifted physically. You know hes got a lot of work to do, as most rookies do. But hes got a lot of great tools." The selection of Roby and the additions of linebackers Lamin Barrow and Corey Nelson in the later rounds followed another fruitful free agency run by Elway. Ware, the former Dallas Cowboys pass-rusher, will team with Miller to give the Broncos another 1-2 punch -- as long as both are healthy after off-season surgeries: Ware (elbow) and Miller (ACL). Ware also can serve as a stabilizing force for Miller, who ran into some off-field trouble last season after Elvis Dumervils departure in free agency. "Hes got great leadership," Del Rio said of Ware. "Hes very explosive. I mean, in our drill work, the guys got some juice to be able to harass the quarterback. So thatll be welcome." Ward can move from strong safety on first and second down to middle linebacker on third down as he did in Cleveland. Talib is a player the Broncos snared from rival New England who gives them another thumper in the secondary. "Weve gone against him," Del Rio said, "and anytime hes got the respect of your better players, then you know youve got a real good football player." Cheap Jerseys Store Wholesale Stitched Jerseys China NFL Jerseys White Cheap Jerseys From China Discount NFL Jerseys NFL Jerseys Outlet Stitched Jerseys ' ' '

Burris was making his first appearance

HAMILTON, Ont. Nomar Mazara Jersey . -- Dan LeFevour stole the spotlight from Henry Burris on Saturday night. LeFevour threw for 361 yards and a touchdown and rushed for a game-high 109 yards and a TD in his first CFL start, leading the Hamilton Tiger-Cats past the Ottawa Redblacks 33-23. Burris was making his first appearance in Hamilton since being released by the club in January after it signed Zach Collaros as a free agent. Burris served as the Ticats starter for two seasons and led the squad to a Grey Cup appearance last year while also tutoring LeFevour. Although LeFevour spoiled Burriss return, LeFevour downplayed any suggestion the game was about the quarterbacks. "It had nothing to do with him," LeFevour said. "It was just good to see him. "I talked to him during the week and after the game . . . he was encouraging me. Hes a great guy, he really is." LeFevour, 27, was an impressive dual threat for Hamilton (1-3). He completed 21-of-30 passes while also running 13 times, his one-yard TD at 9:44 of the fourth snapping a 23-23 tie. The big play was LeFevour hitting C.J. Gable on an 83-yard screen pass that, with a horse-tackle penalty, put the Ticats at the Ottawa one-yard line to the delight of the Ron Joyce Stadium sellout of 6,500. "You saw what a competitor he is," Hamilton coach/GM Kent Austin said. "Real strong will to win, threw the ball well. "Early on he pulled the ball down a little too soon but finally settled in and let the game come to him some more. He just really had a command of the offence." For the first time this season, Gable was a key figure in Hamiltons offence. The speedy running back ran six times for 62 yards and a TD while adding three catches for a team-high 105 yards as the Ticats rolled up 558 total offensive yards. Burris, 39, finished 27-of-44 passing for 290 yards and two TDs and an interception while throwing his first interception of the season. Ottawa (1-3) pulled into a 23-23 tie on Brett Mahers 23-yard field goal at 4:41 of the fourth. "He did a good job," Burris said of LeFevour. "He ran the offence, got the ball to his playmakers and made some plays. "Im proud of him. I just wish he wouldve saved that for another night but kudos to him." Ottawa head coach Rick Campbell said LeFevours legs were key to Hamiltons victory. "Hes a runner, if you give him escape lanes he makes you pay," Campbell said. "We were trying to get him to hold the ball, which he did a couple of times, but he made some plays with his feet . . . then we gave up some huge plays. "Him and Gable, theyre good athletes and youve got to be right on those guys because they make big plays." The Redblacks were coming off their first-ever win, an 18-17 home decision against Toronto last week, and Marcus Henry certainly did his part with 10 catches for 138 yards and a TD. But Burris said his club hurt itself against the Ticats. "We found ways to hurt ourselves," he said. "We had more opportunities to put more points on the board. "This was one of those matches where the last offence that had the ball was going to win the game. Hamilton did a good job of making big plays, we didnt make enough big plays. We cant be shooting ourselves in the foot in those key situations." The game was the Ticats home opener and their first in Hamilton in 21 months as last years home contests were played at the University of Guelph while Tim Hortons Field was being built. Saturdays contest was supposed to open Tim Hortons Field but construction delays will force the team to play at least its first two home games at McMaster. Hamilton hosts the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Thursday night. Brandon Banks had Hamiltons other touchdown. Medlock added the converts and four field goals. Matt Carter scored Ottawas other touchdown. Maher had the converts and three field goals. Medlocks 36-yard field goal capped an entertaining first half and earned Hamilton a 20-17 advantage. It was set up by Craig Butlers interception that put the Ticats at their own 45-yard line. The contest began at a fever pitch with TDs on the first three possessions. Banks took LeFevours shovel pass 53 yards for the score on the second play from scrimmage just 58 seconds in before Burris countered with a smart 13-play, 96-yard march he capped with a 10-yard TD toss to Carter at 7:35. But Gables 47-yard touchdown run on the Ticats fifth offensive play at 9:29 put them ahead 14-7 as they opened by gaining 158 yards on their first five plays. NOTES -- LeFevour became the Ticats third different starter this year after Collaros (head injury) and Jeremiah Masoli started the earlier contests . . . Saturdays game was the first between Hamilton and Ottawa since Oct. 21, 2005 when the Ticats downed the former Renegades 40-32 . . . Ottawa entered weekend action tied atop the East Division with Toronto and Montreal. The last time an Ottawa club was first in the East was Aug. 19, 2005 when the Renegades were 5-3 but they lost their next six games to fall from playoff contention . . . Ottawas scratches were defensive lineman Nigel Romick and tackle Nate Menkin while Hamilton`s were receiver Greg Ellingson and defensive lineman Arnaud Gascon-Nadon. Shin-Soo Choo Jersey . None of them was better than playing with LeBron James again. Jonathan Lucroy Jersey . -- Kurt Buschs Sunday at Martinsville Speedway, in some ways, was like his career wrapped into one afternoon. SAN DIEGO -- Until Thursday, Jesse Hahn hadnt pitched seven innings since his junior year of college in 2010, after which he had reconstructive elbow surgery. The rookie right-hander pitched seven strong innings and pinch-hitter Chris Denorfia singled in the go-ahead run in a four-run seventh for the San Diego Padres, who rallied for the second straight game to beat the Seattle Mariners 4-1 on Thursday night. "Im building up my innings and my pitch count and Ive actually felt stronger and stronger as I went out there, so hopefully next start Ill be able to go eight, and maybe a complete game," Hahn said. The light-hitting Padres salvaged a split of the four-game season series by winning consecutive games for the first time since May 30-31. Robinson Cano had three singles for the Mariners, who beat the Padres in Seattle on Monday and Tuesday. Hahn (2-1) was making his third big league start. He held Seattle to an unearned run and five hits, struck out seven and walked two. In his last two starts, Hahn has allowed no earned runs and just six hits while striking out 14 in 13 innings. "He did a lot of nice things on the mound," manager Bud Black said. "He showed again composure for a guy whos only made three major league starts, so there was a lot of good today from Jesse." Huston Street pitched the ninth for his 20th save in 20 opportunities, getting a double-play ball after allowing a double and single with one out. Seattles Erasmo Ramirez, winless since April 1, left with a 1-0 lead after six innings. But Dominic Leone (2-1) allowed four runs, three hits and a walk while getting only one out in the seventh. Yasmani Grandal grounded out leading off the Padres seventh before they tied it on consecutive triples by Tommy Medica and Cameron Maybin. On Wednesday night, Medicas RBI pinch-hit single in the eighth gave the Padres a 2-1 win. Carlos Quentin walked and was replaced by pinch-runner Jace Peterson before Denorfia, pinch-hitting for Hahn, singled to centre to bring in Maybin with the go-ahead run. Joe Beimel came on and retired Will Venable before allowing Everth Cabreras two-run single to right. "Hittings contagious," Medica said. "A few guys start doing it, I mean, it starts clicking. We did it that inning and hopefully we can get it rolling a little morre. Texas Rangers Jerseys. quot; Ramirez held San Diego to two hits while striking out three and walking two. "Im back to being myself, like I used to be," he said. "Ive been throwing balls, balls and now this has been the opposite, throw more strikes. Every outing I feel like Im getting better. Im just going to continue to pound the strike zone. That is my goal." Said Black: "Ramirez had us. Whether we were behind the fastball and ahead of the change, he and (catcher John) Buck had us going back and forth. He had us in vice grips for those six innings. They made a pitching change and we got some things going." Cano drove in Seattles only run with his second single off Hahn, in the fifth. Cano extended his road hitting streak to 20 games. Brad Miller drew a leadoff walk and was safe at second on Endy Chavezs one-out grounder after Cabrera, the shortstop, dropped the ball for an error. Miller scored on Canos single to right-centre. "Im not going to take anything away from that young man," Seattle manager Lloyd McClendon said. "I thought he threw a pretty good game. He kept us off-balance with his slow curveball. He kept his fastball down for the most part. We had some chances but we just didnt have good at-bats in scoring opportunities today and that has been our challenge all year." NOTES: The Padres placed 1B Yonder Alonso on the 15-day DL, retroactive to Tuesday, with tendinitis in his right wrist. ... To take his place on the roster, OF Jake Goebbert was selected from Triple-A El Paso. Goebbert is still waiting to make his big league debut. He was in the on-deck circle in the seventh but was pulled back for Denorfia. He was acquired from Oakland on May 15 in the deal that sent Kyle Blanks to Oakland. ... Padres 2B Jedd Gyorko had his left foot put back into a cast and walking boot. He had removed them recently as he battles plantar fasciitis. "Its not a good sign," Black said. "But hopefully it helps."... The Padres open a three-game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday night, when RHP Dan Haren (7-4, 3.54 ERA) is scheduled to face RHP Ian Kennedy (5-8, 3.72). ... The Mariners head to Kansas City where they open a three-game series Friday, with RHP Hisashi Iwakuma (5-3, 2.59) scheduled to oppose RHP James Shields (8-3, 3.50). Black China NFL Jerseys Cheap Jerseys Store Cheap Jerseys Wholesale China Jerseys Cheap NFL T-shirts From China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Jerseys White ' ' '

on Friday in Dallas over the Mavericks. DeMar DeRoz

OKLAHOMA CITY - The Toronto Raptors will be in search of another victory over a tough Western Conference opponent tonight when they visit the Oklahoma City Thunder. Jermey Parnell Jersey . You can see the game on TSN beginning at 7pm et/4pm pt. The Raptors are in the midst of a four-game trek and got off to a great start with a 109-108 overtime victory on Friday in Dallas over the Mavericks. DeMar DeRozans jumper with 1:11 left in overtime proved to be the difference as the Raptors held the Mavs scoreless to close out the extra session. It was DeRozan who sent the game to overtime with two of his 15 points with just 16 seconds left. "We were sleepwalking early. I thought we were feeling sorry for ourselves a little bit. I had to get their attention and they did. Guys responded," said Raptors coach Dwane Casey. "They came out swinging, hit us with a haymaker, and Im proud of the way our guys fought back. Thats what the NBA is all about." Kyle Lowry scored a team-high 20 points, Jonas Valanciunas added 18 with 13 rebounds while Terrence Ross and Amir Johnson finished with 15 points apiece for the Raptors, who have won three of their last four. Greivis Vasquez managed 14 for the second unit. The Raps will also visit San Antonio and New York on this sojourn. The Thunder have won three straight against Toronto. The Raptors have dropped two straight and six of the last seven as the visitor in this series. Oklahoma City will try to run its winning streak to 10 games tonight against the visiting Raptors. The Thunder havent lost since a Dec. 4 setback in Portland to the Trail Blazers. Oklahoma City is the lone remaining undefeated team at home with a perfect 13-0 mark. OKC ran its winning streak to nine with a 113-100 road victory Saturday night over the San Antonio Spurs. The Thunder took control of the game with a 40-29 second quarter and held the ultra-efficient Spurs under 43 percent shooting, while connecting at a 49 percent clip. Russell Westbrook was dynamic on Saturday with 31 points on 13-for-22 shooting. He handed out eight assists, grabbed four rebounds and only committed three turnovers. "Hes an All-Star and playing like one every night," Thunder coach Scott Brooks said of Westbrook. "He makes us go with his effort, with his toughness, with his team mentality and the last couple of years, the game has slowed down. He sees so many things on the floor. He does a great job of running our sets and does a great job of leading our defense." Reggie Jackson had 21 off the bench and Kevin Durant, the NBAs leading scorer, finished with 17. Serge Ibaka enjoyed a great all-around game with 14 points, 14 rebounds and three blocks. The Thunder head out for a two-game road trip, starting in Madison Square Garden on Christmas afternoon against the New York Knicks. A. J. The 34-year old Clark has been one of the more

BALTIMORE -- The Baltimore Ravens have bolstered their receiving corps, agreeing in principle to a contract with tight end Dallas Clark and signing wideout Brandon Stokley to a one-year contract. Vegas Golden Knights Jerseys . The team announced the deals Sunday. The Ravens lost top tight end Dennis Pitta to a season-ending hip injury early in training camp, and Ed Dickson, the player being counted on to replace him is sidelined by a partially torn hamstring. The 34-year old Clark has been one of the more productive tight ends in the NFL during the last decade. He has 474 catches 5,322 yards and 50 touchdowns in 10 NFL seasons, the first nine of which he spent with the Indianapolis Colts. The 37-year old Stokley was drafted by the Ravens in the fourth round of the 1999 NFL draft and caught a touchdown during Baltimores win over the New York Giants in the 2001 Super Bowl. Since leaving the Ravens following the 2002 season, Stokley has spent time with the Indianapolis Colts, Denver Broncos, Seattle Seahawks and New York Giants. He has 384 catches for 5,224 yards and 39 touchdowns in 14 NFL seasons. "He gives us experience," Ravens coach John Harbaugh said. "He gives us a guy that can catch balls in the slot. Hes done that over a number of years, and hes done a great job of that, so thats an asset for us." Clarks numbers have dipped in recent years, but he still had 47 catches for 435 yards and four touchdowns with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last season. He will be in Baltimore on Monday to take a physical. Stokley had 45 catches for 544 yards and five touchdowns for the Broncos last year. He will be part of a group that includes Jacoby Jones, Tandon Doss and Deonte Thompson competing for playing time. "I feel like I can move the chains," Stokley said. "I feel like I can help the club get in the end zone, keep the offence on the field and be successful." Jonathan Marchessault Jersey . To be fair, the celebrations are already anything but tame. Nerf ball tricks shots are just the tip of the iceberg for a group that has performed in zero gravity, faced pro-skateboarder Rob Dyrdek and an assembled team on the MTV series "Fantasy Factory", and even hit a basketball trick shot from a passing blimp. Shea Theodore Jersey . - The Clippers have signed guard Dahntay Jones to a second 10-day contract.WASHINGTON -- James Bell scored 16 points, and No. 9 Villanova prevailed in a messy, foul-plagued game of stops and starts Monday night for a 65-60 victory over Georgetown, the Hoyas fifth straight loss. Daniel Ochefu added 12 points on 5-for-5 shooting for the Wildcats (18-2, 7-1 Big East), who forced 18 turnovers while committing 16. Villanova made 22 of 28 free throws and moved into a tie with first-place Creighton atop the Big East. Markel Starks scored 20 points for the short-handed Hoyas (11-9, 3-6), whose roster underwent two more changes before the game. Georgetown has its longest losing streak since 2011 and has dropped three straight at home for the first time since 2009. The game included 34 turnovers, 41 field goals and 39 fouls. At least it was competitive: The biggest lead was eight points -- and thats only because Georgetown scored the first eight points of the game. After topping off at No. 4 in the Top 25, Villanova has had all it can handle in its last three games. No opponent shot 50 per cent or better against the Wildcats in their first 17 games, but they allowed Creighton to shoot 57 per cent in a loss and Marquette to hit 50 per cent in an overtime win. Georgetown was at 55 per cent at halftime, but the Hoyas went cold late and finished at 44 per cent. Georgetown fell short again on a day of more ups and downs with player moves. Jabril Trawick returned after missing five games with a broken jaw and played 12 minutes. The Hoyas learned shortly before tipoff that senior centre Moses Ayegba had to sit out due to a one-game NCAA suspension. Nate Schmidt Jersey. Ayegbas suspension looked like a bureaucratic mess, even by NCAA standards. It was related to the nine-game suspension he received as a freshman for violating pre-enrolment rules, an infraction that the Hoyas have said was connected to a plane ticket that brought him from Nigeria to the United States years ago -- before Georgetown even started recruiting him. The Hoyas are playing without centre Joshua Smith, who was recently ruled out for the rest of the season due to academic issues. Bradley Hayes, who had played 13 minutes all season, got some crucial playing time in both halves. Villanova led 35-30 at halftime. The Hoyas game-opening 8-0 run was answered immediately by a 9-0 spurt by the Wildcats. Consecutive three-pointers by Villanovas Ryan Arcidiacono created the closest thing to momentum over the first 20 minutes. Starks drove baseline to tie the game at 35, and he gave the Hoyas their first lead of the second half, 41-39, with two free throws with 14:42 to play. From there, it was back-and-forth. Georgetowns Aaron Bowen saluted the crowd after a three-pointer that tied the game at 46, while Ochefu stretched every bit of his frame to make a layup that gave the Wildcats a 61-56 lead. Starks floater cut the deficit to 61-58 with 2:08 to play, but he was called for an offensive foul after making a pass under the basket with 35 seconds remaining. Villanova then made a series of free throws to hold on for the win. Cheap Jerseys 2020 Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic NFL Jerseys From China NFL Jerseys Wholesale Wholesale Nike NFL Jerseys NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys Store ' ' '

METAIRIE, La. Carlos Valderrama Jersey . -- New Orleans Saints running back Pierre Thomas has been ruled out of the teams playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday with a back injury. ST. Ichiro Suzuki Jersey . LOUIS - It was the perfect way for the St. Louis Blues to glide into an extended All-Star break. Lots of positive energy with nine days between games.Weve been rolling and we wanted to keep it going, forward Alexander Steen said after the Blues dominated at both ends of a 3-1 victory over the Colorado Avalanche on Monday night. Tonight I think was probably our best game this year, from goalie out.Jaden Schwartz had a goal and assist and Brian Elliott needed to make just 17 saves, although he had to be sharp at times. Elliott leads the NHL with a 1.86 goals-against average and is fourth with a .930 save percentage. You try to be big, big in net and get us through the first little wave, Elliott said. And the guys take care of the rest. As you saw, the second and third period we did the things we always do and thats a good sign.T.J. Oshie also scored and defenceman Carl Gunnarsson got his second goal of the season for the Blues. St. Louis has scored in a season-best eight consecutive games, going 7-0-1 in that stretch.Theyre two points behind Central Division-leading Nashville, although the Predators have played two fewer games. They dont play again until wrapping up a seven-game homestand against Nashville on Jan. 29.Steen had two assists, giving him 18 points during a 10-game points streak, the longest by the Blues this season. Ken Hitchcock got his 153rd win with St. Louis, tied with Brian Sutter for second on the franchise list. The Blues have won eight of nine at home against Colorado, including a 3-0 shutout by Martin Brodeur on Dec. 29 in which the Avalanche were held to 16 shots. Theyd taken 21 or more in each of the 10 games since that loss.Matt Duchene scored for the Avalanche, who finished 1-2-2 on a five-game road trip. They outplayed us, theres no question, forward Jarome Iginla said. Once they get the lead theyre a good defensive club and theyre playing well right now.Schwartz scored his third goal in five games on a power play at 32 seconds of the second period to snap a 1-all tie. He got the puck right back and beat Semyon Varlamov after his first attempt deflected off the skate of Colorado defenceman Erik Johnson.Kind of a lucky bounce, Schwartz said. It came right back to me and Varlamov was cheating from the first shot, so it felt good when it went in.Oshie did some nifty stick-handling to set up his 13th goal at 10:40 off assists from David Backes and Steen to close the scoring.Gunnarsson gave the Blues a 1-0 lead with his first goal since Nov. 13 when his point shot deflected off the stick of Alex Tanguay. Hed totalled three assists in the previous 19 games.A giveaway by Kevin Shattenkirk led to Duchenes 13th goal with 6:58 left in the opening period, as the puck ticked off the stick of Blues forward Paul Stastny. Its always tough to win the last one but at the same time we knew it would be a good test, a good challenge, coach Patrick Roy said. Ill give them credit, they played a good game.NOTES: Steen has seven goals and 11 assists during his point streak, but his goal streak ended at five games, one shy of his career best last season. ... The Blues have an NHL-best plus-37 goal differential. ... The Blues are 17-1-2 leading after two periods. ... Attendance of 19,187 was the Blues ninth sellout and fourth in six games of a homestand that concludes against Nashville Jan. 29. ... Backes played his 613th game with St. Louis, tied with Hall of Famer Al MacInnis for eighth on the franchise list. Dee Gordon Jersey . The England international had both goals in TFCs season-opening 2-1 win over the Seattle Sounders on Saturday. Custom Miami Marlins Jerseys . Van Slyke drove in a career-high four runs with two homers off struggling left-hander Tony Cingrani, and the Los Angeles Dodgers pulled away to a 6-2 victory over the Cincinnati Reds on Monday night, a rare comfortable win in their pitching-dominated series.FIVE QUICK NBA THOUGHTS 1. GREIVIS VASQUEZ (Raptors): Has been sensational for the Raps in the past few weeks. His confidence in his three-point shooting and his ability to make difficult shots in the lane have been huge. He runs the team well and plays with wonderful enthusiasm. Major pick-up as a back-up point guard and hes finally settled in to his role and comfort level in Toronto. Really fun/upbeat personality who loves the game and plays with a swagger. Fun to see it all coming together for him. 2. ALLEN IVERSONS NO. 3 RETIRED IN PHILLY: In an otherwise gloomy season in Philadelphia, this was the definite highlight. Talk about a guy that absolutely carried his team and was the heart and soul of his franchise. Loved the passion and toughness he played with. When you think of great small guards who have ever played the game, hes right at the top of the list. His competitive spirit resonated throughout the teams he led and the city that adopted him. I think back to broadcasting the 2001 Raptors seven-game series in the Eastern Conference semi-finals against them and he was awesome. A complete joy to watch. Willed his team to the NBA Finals. Deserving honour. 3. NY KNICKS: I talk about AI and his competitive spirit and then I watch the Knicks vs. Bulls game on Sunday and just shake my head. The wheels have come off and Im not surprised one bit. When the Knicks were in Toronto twice during the pre-season I could sense from chatting with their folks an over-confidence about what they achieved last season and the feeling that they would just pick up where they left off. It aint that easy. Last season doesnt mean a thing - youve got to start off all over again. Complacency can be a killler. Dustin McGowan Jersey. Whats the old line? "Good is the enemy of great". Doubt the Knicks would ever be considered great but they sure were good last year. When you enjoy those good spoils of success and arent ready for the grind again it spells trouble. I feel bad for head coach Mike Woodson, its not like he hasnt called them and challenged them on things constantly. Losing battle right now. House cleaning coming. 4. JIMMER FREDETTE (Bulls): Nice pick-up for John Paxson and Gar Forman. This team is playing great yet lacks consistent offensive fire power. Wouldnt surprise me to see Jimmer earn some playing time in a few weeks after he gets adjusted to the new system. Remember last season, Nate Robinson and Marco Belinelli were huge for them off the bench as DJ Augustin has been this year. Jimmer will give them another three-point threat. Yes, hes got challenges defensively due to his size - he lacks lateral quicks - but he will compete his tail off and stick shots if he gets in. Im sure hell get a good look down the road this month. Solid under-the-radar move. 5. THABO SEFOLOSHA and KENDRICK PERKINS (Thunder): Both banged up right now in OKC and with the return of Russell Westbrook its been a revolving door around Kevin Durant yet I think its all a blessing for their organization. Its been "Force Feed" time for Reggie Jackson, Steven Adams, Jeremy Lamb and Perry Jones and theyve developed folks that need to grow as players quickly in an elite environment. From April 15 onward when both injured guys will be back for the Playoffs, the depth and experience of these challenges will help this team become steadier and more consistent when the stakes are higher. China Jerseys Cheap Authentic Jerseys Cheap Jerseys 2020 Cheap Jerseys 2018 China Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Free Shipping Cheap NFL Jerseys ' ' '

th Texas by beating the Rangers 4-2 o

OAKLAND, Calif. Adam Lallana Jersey . -- Unlike early September last year, the Oakland Athletics and Texas Rangers are neck and neck chasing the AL West title. Both clubs are ready for this race to go right down to the end -- again. Coco Crisp hit a tiebreaking two-run homer in the fifth that was confirmed by a video review, and the As pulled into a first-place tie with Texas by beating the Rangers 4-2 on Monday. "You enjoy the race," As closer Grant Balfour said. "Id like to say were sitting here 10 games up." Yoenis Cespedes homered leading off the second inning and Chris Young added an RBI single in Oaklands fourth straight win. David Murphy hit a tying two-run shot in the Texas fifth for his first homer since Aug. 1. But the Rangers loaded the bases against Dan Otero with one out in the sixth and couldnt deliver. Crisp set a career high with his 17th homer that stayed just fair of the left-field foul pole, topping his 16 for Cleveland in 2005. He homered for the third straight game to help the As (79-58) move a season-best 21 games over .500. "I didnt think it was going to stay fair," he said. Crisp fouled a ball off the area below his right knee in the sixth. He stayed in and struck out, and then was removed for what the team called a shin contusion. Crisp said he felt fine afterward. In games so meaningful, he will do all he can to stay on the field. "Its a back and forth that kind of pumps your blood a little bit," Crisp said. "Obviously you want to be close or you want to be in front, in first place or as far in front as possible. Were fortunate were in the situation we are now." As lefty reliever Brett Anderson, pitching at home for the first time since April 29, worked a 10-pitch seventh, helped by Ian Kinslers inning-ending double play. Ryan Cook worked out of a jam in the eighth and Balfour finished for his 36th save in 38 tries as the Rangers left the tying run at second. "I was running on fumes," Balfour said of pitching for the fourth time in five days. "I was just trying to pitch with some guts." Oakland won for the seventh time in eight games and is hoping for another strong September like its 17-11 showing last year on the way to the West crown on the final day. The Rangers, who were unable to hold off streaking Oakland last year, fell out of sole possession of first place for the first time since Aug. 9, the last time the As shared the lead. "I expect it to go all the way down to the end. Division champs over there," Texas manager Ron Washington said. "I dont expect them to go away and I certainly dont expect us to go away. Everything goes through Oakland. Doesnt matter where positioned in the standings right now." If Washington intended to put a target on the As, manager Bob Melvin quipped, "Ill flip it back to him." The Rangers had their three-game road winning streak snapped with just their third defeat in the last 15 games away from Arlington. Young singled in a second run for the As three batters after Cespedes connected for his 21st homer, against Derek Holland (9-7). Center fielder Leonys Martin missed the ball on Youngs base hit and it got past him for a two-base error. Young tried to score on the play and was thrown out at home after stumbling slightly rounding third. "Were playing OK, maybe not our best, and were tied for first with a team playing well, too," Texas third baseman Adrian Beltre said. "Well take our chances. Our destiny is in our hands." Top As prospect Michael Choice went 0 for 2 with a walk in his major league debut as the designated hitter. Dan Straily (8-7) pitched five innings to win back-to-back starts for the first time since early July, putting together two solid outings following a seven-start winless stretch in which he went 0-5. "You come out there and understand the magnitude of the situation, and youre very determined to get the job done," Straily said. Cespedes singled in the fifth for consecutive multihit games as the As began a stretch with 19 of their final 26 games against divisional opponents. Lance Berkman started at DH and went 0 for 4 one day after Texas activated him from the disabled list. He had been out since July 7 with left hip inflammation and a sore surgically repaired right knee. The Rangers won three of the teams first four series this year -- and, after this week, the clubs play once more in Arlington from Sept. 13-15. NOTES: Holland allowed more than one home run for just the third time all year. ... The As are 14-4 when Cespedes homers. ... Oakland is 20-22 vs. the West since May 19 compared to 41-18 against other opponents. ... The Rangers will recall RHP Ross Wolf and OFs Engel Beltre and Joey Butler on Tuesday. Ross Barkley Jersey . LOUIS -- Julius Randle had 19 points and 15 rebounds, Aaron Harrison finished with 18 points and No. Ryan Bertrand Jersey . Bobrovsky posted a 2-0-1 record with a 1.58 goals-against average and .950 save percentage to help the Blue Jackets (35-26-6) gain five of a possible six points last week. He capped the week by making 32 saves and stopping 2-of-4 shootout attempts in a 2-1 win over the Minnesota Wild on Saturday.Officials announced on Thursday that PGA TOUR champion Gary Woodland will be the second player to represent Team World in the inaugural Canada Cup Match to take place at Ashburn Golf Club – New Course in Halifax, Nova Scotia on Monday, June 30, 2014.  The Canada Cup is part of GOLFest Nova Scotia, a week-long celebration of national pride and all things golf in Canada that will also feature a Web.com Tour event, the Nova Scotia Open, from June 29 to July 6, 2014. After turning professional in 2007, Woodland quickly ascended to the PGA TOUR. He had a break-through season in 2011 which included six top-10 finishes and a victory at the Transitions Championship (now Valspar Championship), where he sunk a clutch 10-foot putt for par on the 72nd hole to win by one stroke over U.S. Open Champion Webb Simpson. More recently, the Topeka, Kansas native claimed his second PGA TOUR victory at the 2013 Reno-Tahoe Open. Woodland currently sits at number eighteen on the 2014 FedExCup points list. He is an alumnus of the Web.com Tour, having made 14 starts in 2010, which included four top-20 finishes. Known for his power and athleticism, Woodlands style will be a great exhibition for spectators. His length is the perfect complement to Kuchars consistency and patience. Canada Cup fans could be in for a treat if Kuchar and Woodland get paired together for team alternate shot. The Canada Cup will not be the first time this duo has paired up in international team competition. In 2011, Kuchar and Woodland represented the UUnited States at the Omega Mission Hills World Cup (now ISPS HANDA World Cup of Golf) where they won by two strokes over England and Germany. David Beckham Jersey. .                       "Match play competitions always bring out the best in players ability and personality. The pressure and energy of match play creates a great environment for players and fans alike. Playing with Matt and representing the United States at the Omega Mission Hills World Cup was a great experience. I look forward to representing the World with Matt and our remaining teammates as we take on Team Canada at the Canada Cup in a week that includes both Canada Day and Independence Day," said Woodland.  DeLaet and Woodland are two of the longer ball strikers on tour, while Weir, Hearn and Kuchar are three of the most consistent. Although the Canada Cup pairings are still undetermined, one thing is for certain, that fans will bear witness to an exhibition of world-class golf by top PGA TOUR and Web.com Tour professionals.  "Matt and Gary are both great players with very different styles of play which will be entertaining for spectators to watch. Match play is a great format that we dont get to play a lot of on the PGA TOUR.  I cant wait to play in front of the Canadian fans in a match play setting again. I look forward to welcoming Matt and Gary to Halifax and sharing this experience with Graham and David," said Weir. NFL Jerseys Cheap Wholesale Nike NFL Jerseys NFL Jerseys Wholesale Cheap Jerseys 2020 Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys 2018 Cheap Jerseys 2020 ' ' '

rew last year due to strep throat and suffe

MIAMI -- Canadas Milos Raonic defeated Spains Guillermo Garcia-Lopez 6-1, 6-2 on Monday to reach the fourth round of the Sony Open for the first time in his career. Jose Altuve Jersey . For the last two years, Raonic had stalled at the third-round stage at Crandon Park. He withdrew last year due to strep throat and suffered an injury the year before. Raonic, the No. 12 seed, needed just 56 minutes to complete the victory. He fired 10 aces and had service breaks on four of eight chances. The Canadian produced 26 winners and lost just five points on his serve in the match. "It was a good way to start the day with a quick win and an early match," Raonic said. The Canadian blew through the opening set in 25 minutes and took only slightly longer to secure the second. Raonic broke for a 2-1 lead in the second set and didnt look back. He said he was particularly pleased with his service game and felt he had made strides since his win over the 55th-ranked Spaniard in Davis Cup play last year. "Ive improved in general on second serve," Raonic said. "That allows me to better take advantage of my opportunities." Raonic, who did not face a break point, will next play Germanys Benjamin Becker. "Its going to be tough no matter who I play," he said. "I always know the opponents can play well. But its up to me to do what I need to do to win. "My good serving gives me confidence, it makes my days a lot easier." The 23-year-old from Thornhill, Ont., played with a sleeve on his right arm for the second straight match. "I was using a lotion and it didnt react well to the sun," he said. "The sleeve is just for protection, thats all." In doubles play, the sixth-seeded duo of Torontos Daniel Nestor and Serbias Nenad Zimonjic were to play Robin Haase of the Netherlands and Britains Jonathan Marray later in the day. D.J. JOHNS, N.L. -- Michael Hutchinson posted a 24-save shutout and Kael Mouillierat scored to earn the St. Johns IceCaps a 1-0 victory over the Albany Devils on Wednesday night in American Hockey League playoff action. Mouillierat scored the lone goal of the game for the IceCaps when he surged forward to catch an outlet pass from Zach Redmond on a breakaway. The victory gives St. Johns a 2-1 lead in the best-of-five series. Mouillierat faked too move the puck forehand and then quickly brought it backhand before releasing high at the 17:50 mark of the first period. Andre Hal Jersey. IceCaps goalie Michael Hutchinson made a huge, high glove save on a wide-open opportunity in front for Reid Boucher with six minutes left to play. Keith Kinkaid stopped 34 pucks for the Devils. osing an apparent run in a rare dou

WASHINGTON -- After getting pummeled by Washington in two straight games, the Texas Rangers were eager to stop the Nationals seemingly interminable parade around the bases. Alan Branch Jersey . Yu Darvish gave the Rangers just what they needed to avert a humbling sweep. Darvish struck out 12 over eight innings, Leonys Martin broke open a scoreless duel with a homer in the seventh and Texas secured a 2-0 victory Sunday. The Rangers won despite losing an apparent run in a rare double challenge on the same play. Managers Ron Washington of Texas and Matt Williams lodged separate complaints after a double steal in the first inning. Pitching for the first time since May 22 after missing his last turn with a stiff neck, Darvish (5-2) gave up five hits and walked two in dropping his ERA to 2.08. The right-hander matched his season high in strikeouts and overpowered a club that won 9-2 on Friday and 10-2 Saturday. "That team for two days just swung the bats at will, threw the ball around the ballpark, out of the ballpark," Washington said. "We certainly needed to try to slow them down, and (Darvish) did that. He slowed them down. Yu was good today. He was very good. When the team needed him to be very good, he was." Joakim Soria worked a perfect ninth to earn his 11th save and seal Texas major league-leading 11th shutout. Darvish struck out the side in the second and fanned two in each of the next three innings before encountering trouble in the sixth. One-out singles by Jayson Werth and Adam LaRoche put runners at first and third before Darvish struck out Wilson Ramos and retired Ian Desmond on a deep fly to right field. Darvish yielded a two-out walk in the seventh and left after a 1-2-3 eighth. "We just needed Yu to pitch well," Washington said, "and he pitched well." Darvish was worried that neck stiffness might be a problem, but it obviously didnt turn out to be an issue. "Last night before I went to bed, I was very scared to wake up with a neck injury so I probably woke up 20 times," he said through a translator. "But I didnt have any pain when I woke up this morning." Darvish got the only run he needed when Martin hit an 0-1 pitch from Tanner Roark (3-4) into the Washington bullpen beyond the right-field wall. It was his third home run in 183 at-bats this season and ended the Rangers run of homerless games at six. Roark allowed only one run and seven hits in seven innings but lost his third straight start. "He made one mistake to Martin, a changeup that was up in the strike zone," Williams said. "Other than that, he matched him perfectly." Roark has lost three straight starts but owns a 3.25 ERA and has allowed only eight earned runs over his last 32 2-3 innings. In this one, he kept the Rangers at bay until Martin connected. "It was just a bad changeup. It was up and I didnt throw it with conviction," Roark said. "Thats how its been the past couple games, just one pitch." Donnie Murphy added an RBI single off Drew Storen in the eighth. Murphy had a season-high three hits and was flawless in his first career game at first base. "Hes a pro," Washington said of Murphy. "Every time he goes out there he does something for us." In the first inning, both managers talked to the umpires. With two outs and runners on the corners, Elvis Andrus and Alex Rios executed a double steal. Rios was called out for coming off second base after the steal, but umpires ruled Andrus crossed the plate before the tag. The Texas manager challenged the call at second and Williams insisted the out occurred before Andrus crossed the plate. After replays were reviewed over a span of 2 minutes, 45 seconds, Texas lost its challenge and the Nationals assertion was confirmed. "I might have reacted too soon," Washington acknowledged. "I should have waited until the first inning was over and I would have had my challenge. I was just trying to protect myself." In the bottom half, Ramos looked at a third strike with two outs and runners at first and third. It was the first of five straight strikeouts for Darvish. NOTES: Rangers LF Michael Choice was scratched from the starting lineup with a bruised left shin. ... Both teams are off Monday. Washington hosts Philadelphia on Tuesday night and the Rangers face visiting Baltimore. ... Denard Span got his eighth steal in the third inning, Washingtons 27th this season. Only five Nats have been caught stealing. ... Texas finished its 11-game road trip with a 7-4 record and ended a four-game road losing streak against NL foes. ... Washington fell to 4-26 when scoring fewer than four runs. Antonio Garcia Jersey . They started shooting the puck. Joe Pavelski had a hat trick to move into a tie for second in the NHL in goals and the Sharks beat Philadelphia 7-3 Thursday night in the first game for both teams following the Olympic break. Donald Trump Jersey .J. -- Omar Cummings helped the Houston Dynamo advance to the MLS Eastern Conference finals. The Los Angeles Kings will try to salvage the finale of a four-game road trip on Thursday night as they visit the Edmonton Oilers. Catch the game on TSN starting at 9pm et/6pm pt. The Kings are 0-2-1 on their final trip of the regular season. They end the campaign at home on Saturday versus the Pacific Division-champion Anaheim Ducks before kicking off a first-round playoff matchup with the second-place San Jose Sharks. Following consecutive 2-1 regulation losses to San Jose and Vancouver, Los Angeles rallied from a three-goal deficit in an eventual 4-3 shootout setback to the Calgary Flames on Wednesday. Anze Kopitar scored the 199th goal of his career, while Jarret Stoll and Dwight King also lit the lamp. Marian Gaborik recorded the 700th point of his career with an assist, while Jonathan Quick made 15 saves. "We hung in there, got some goals and got a point," LA head coach Darryl Sutter said. The Kings have lost four of their last five overall and are likely to start backup Martin Jones tonight. The rookie Jones has faced the Oilers once before this season, a 24-save shutout in a 3-0 decision at home on Dec. 17. The Kings have won five in a row and 11 of their last 14 meetings with the Oilers, including the first three matchups of this season. Los Angeles also has claimed two straight and nine of its previous 11 trips to Edmonton. The Oilers had a two-game winning streak snapped with Tuesdays 4-1 setback to the Colorado Avalanche. David Perron had a goal and Ben Scrivens yielded four tallies on 33 shots. "We couldnt get into the rhythm of the game," said Edmonton head coach Dallas Eakins. "The biggest thing for me was it was almost like we couldnt work because we couldnt make two passes in a row. Our execution was just terrible tonight for whatever reason and it happens." Scrivens fell to 8-11-0 with a 3.06 goals against average and one shutout with the Oilers since being acquired from the Kings on Jan. 15 in exchange for a 2014 third-round pick. That includes a loss to his former club on March 9, when Scrivens yielded four goals on 50 shots. Edmonton will start Viktor Fasth tonight and he has gone 3-2-1 with a 2.68 GAA in six starts since being acquired from Anaheim. Fasth is 1-2-0 lifetime versus the Kings with a 2.95 GAA. The Oilers wrap a season-ending four-game homestand on Saturday versus Vancouver and sit last in the Western Conference with 65 points. St. Louis Blues at Minnesota Wild The St. Louis Blues will try to snap their longest losing streak of the season and keep their chances at the top seed in the Western Conference alive on Thursday night when they visit the playoff-bound Minnesota Wild. Catch the game on TSN2 starting at 8pm et/5pm pt. The Blues have lost three in a row for the first time this season, putting them a point back of the Anaheim Ducks for the most in the conference. St. Louis does have a game in hand over idle Anaheim. However, the Blues current skid also has them just two points aheadd of the Colorado Avalanche for first place in the Central Division with three games to play for both teams. David Andrews Jersey. The Avs are in action on Thursday as well as they visit the Vancouver Canucks. St. Louis offensive funk continued with Tuesdays 4-1 setback to the Washington Capitals. It marked the sixth straight game that the Blues were held to a pair of goals or fewer. "The last few we havent been scoring but weve had guys scoring all year," said Blues forward Alexander Steen, who returned from a three-game absence caused by an upper-body injury and leads the club with 33 goals. While Steen doesnt sound too worried, the Blues will be without another key offensive contributor in David Backes, who suffered a lower-body injury versus the Capitals. He traveled with the club to Minnesota, but wont play tonight and his status for Fridays road contest with the Dallas Stars is unknown. Backes is second on the Blues with 27 goals and third in points with 57. Ryan Miller gave up four goals on 22 shots versus the Capitals and will try to help St. Louis avoid posting its longest losing streak since a five-game slide from Feb. 1-11 of last year. Miller is 4-2-0 with a 2.08 goals against average and one shutout in six previous meetings with the Wild. Minnesota would probably like to avoid a first-round playoff matchup with St. Louis, though that is who the Wild would play if the season ended today. The Wild are locked into the first of two wild card spots after beating the Boston Bruins 4-3 in a shootout on Tuesday. The Wild are 5-0-1 in their last six, with their last regulation setback coming on March 27 with a 5-1 defeat in St. Louis. T.J. Oshie highlighted the Blues victory with his first career hat trick, while Miller stopped 27-of-28 shots faced. The Blues have won all four of their previous meetings with the Wild this season and nine straight overall. The Wild have not won in this series since a home victory on Nov. 19, 2011, dropping four straight as the host since. Minnesota, though, could make a statement tonight with a victory and is coming off a hard-fought win over the NHL-leading Bruins. Defenseman Ryan Suter netted a game-tying goal with 1:05 remaining in regulation, while Mikko Koivu had the lone shootout tally. Koivu matched an NHL record with his 15th game-winning shootout tally and also had a pair of assists on regulation. Jason Pominville tallied twice and Ilya Bryzgalov posted 21 saves. "We played ourselves into the playoffs the way that you want to. It says a lot about the guys in here, and hopefully we can keep this thing going here," Suter said. Bryzgalov, who was coming off back-to-back shutouts, improved to 7-0-3 with a 1.78 goals against average and .923 save percentage since being acquired from the Edmonton Oilers. He is 6-11-2 with a 3.14 GAA and two shutouts lifetime versus the Blues. Miller is 10-5-1 with a 2.27 GAA and .910 save percentage in 16 starts since the Blues acquired him from the Buffalo Sabres. Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap Jerseys Free Shipping Wholesale Jerseys 2020 Cheap NFL Jerseys China Discount NFL Jerseys Cheap Authentic Jerseys Cheap Nike NFL Jerseys ' ' '

Klinsmann. But the league decided that De

TORONTO -- The MLS schedule is just three weeks old and already the shots are coming fast and furious. Cam Newton Jersey . Too many on Clint Dempsey, says U.S. coach Juergen Klinsmann. But the league decided that Dempsey was the trouble-maker not the victim when it suspended the Seattle Sounders star striker two games Friday for "violent conduct" against Toronto FC defender Mark Bloom. The incident happened off the ball in the 40th minute of Torontos 2-1 win in Seattle last Saturday. Dempsey swung an arm and caught Bloom in the groin. The U.S. international was also fined an undisclosed amount. Klinsmann stepped in after the game, saying MLS has to offer key players like Dempsey more protection. "Obviously we are a little bit worried about Clint Dempsey getting fouled I dont know how many times in this game against Toronto," he said in a U.S. Soccer video. Toronto committed 25 fouls compared to 15 for Seattle. "Im hoping MLS is having an eye on that ... What I saw there on the weekend there were certain things not within the rules any more," Klinsmann added. "So I hope that our players in a certain way get a little bit of protection because they need to be healthy going into this World Cup." Seattle was also the victim of 25 fouls in its season-opening win over Sporting Kansas City. Asked about the Klinsmann comments on protecting stars, Toronto FC manager Ryan Nelsen stuck his tongue firmly in his cheek. "I 100 per cent agree with him," he said. "Jermain Defoe, Michael Bradley and Gilberto should be left alone, they shouldnt be allowed to tackle them." "I think theres a hidden agenda with Juergens comments," he added. Bradley, a veteran U.S. international whose father Bob Bradley used to coach the American national team, also downplayed the issue. "Its a physical league for sure but when you look around the world, all the best games are physical," he said. "Theyre hard, Teams compete at the highest level. For us, when we look back at last weekend, we feel like we played hard, we competed hard, we left everything we had on the field but in an honest, fair way. "And so I think, after the fact, for people to look and to start to talk about a play here, a play there, lets be honest, theres little plays like this that go in every game. And still when you look back at 90 minutes, I think the way that we were able to get after Seattle and make the game hard on them and really win the physical battles was something we want to take forward into this game (Saturday against D.C, United) as well." Seattle coach Sigi Schmid didnt offer much on the suspension in an interview posted on the club website. "It is what it is so we have to deal with it," he said. Dempsey is eligible to return for an April 5 road game in Portland. The MLS disciplinary committee also suspended Chicago Fire defender Lovel Palmer for two games and fined him an undisclosed amount for violent conduct toward Portland Timbers forward Maximiliano Urruti last weekend. Both Dempsey and Palmer submitted appeals that were turned down. Montreal Impact midfielder Justin Mapp was also fined an undisclosed amount for simulation in a game against the Houston Dynamo. New York Red Bulls defender Armando was banned one game and fined an undisclosed amount for serious foul play against Colorado Rapids forward Deshorn Brown. Prior to the start of the season, the leagues board of governors approved a policy stating that any player receiving a red card for violent conduct or adjudged unanimously by the discipline committee to be an unequivocal red card for violent conduct will be automatically suspended for at least two games and be fined. Matt Kalil Jersey . While theyve yet to dive into CFL free agency, the Ottawa Redblacks signed a former NFLer on Tuesday in wide receiver Limas Sweed. Joe Looney Jersey . For Sweed, a second round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2008, this will be his second go around in the CFL after previously having spent time with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. The expansion Redblacks also made their first trade on Tuesday, acquiring defensive lineman Justin Phillips from the Calgary Stampeders. The Stampeders also sent their third-round pick (23rd overall) in the upcoming CFL draft to Ottawa for the Redblacks third-round pick (19th overall) this year. Calgary also gets Ottawas third-round selection in 2015. The six-foot-four 240-pound Phillips, who is from the Ottawa suburb of Stittsville, spent the last seven seasons in Calgary where he registered 78 defensive tackles, 78 special teams tackles and four sacks. "We tried to get Justin during the expansion draft but things did not work out then, but were glad to be able to acquire such a quality player now," Redblacks general manager Marcel Desjardins said in a statement. "Justin is an Ottawa guy and we believe hes going to thrive in this environment." The 28-year-old played his university football at Wilfrid Laurier, where he won the 2005 Vanier Cup. Phillips was selected fifth overall by Calgary in the 2007 CFL draft and won the Grey Cup the following season with the Stampeders. Dan Bailey Jersey . nce home winning streak to 48 games in the Carrier

SYRACUSE, N. Stefan Savic Jersey .Y. -- Trevor Cooney and C.J. Fair each scored 17 points and No. 4 Syracuse hit Binghamton with a long-range barrage in a 93-65 victory on Saturday night. Syracuse (9-0), which beat Indiana 69-52 on Tuesday night, upped its nonconference home winning streak to 48 games in the Carrier Dome and figures to move up to No. 2 next week after top-ranked Michigan State and No. 3 Kentucky lost this week. With a starting lineup of one sophomore and four freshmen, Binghamton (2-7) figured to struggle against the bigger, more athletic Orange, and the Bearcats did after a solid start. Jerami Grant had 14 points for Syracuse, Dajuan Coleman had 13 points and 10 rebounds, and freshman Ron Patterson added a season-high 10 points, hitting two of the Oranges 13 3-pointers, two off the school record. Freshman point guard Tyler Ennis had his first off-game of the season, picking up four fouls and finishing with three points and three assists in 19 minutes. Sophomore Jordan Reed, who leads Binghamton in nearly every statistical category, led the Bearcats with a season-high 26 points and seven rebounds. Marlon Beck II had 14 points and Nick Madray 11. Syracuse was torched three times from long range in the first 4 minutes. Beck started the surge with a 3 from the right wing and Madray followed with two more, the second giving the Bearcats an 11-3 lead as Ennis picked up two quick fouls and went to the bench. The Bearcats had snapped a four-game losing streak with a 74-70 victory at Mount St. Marys on Wednesday night, thanks to 68 per cent shooting, but they nearly blew a 19-point lead by committing 23 turnovers against a pressing defence. The Orange used the same strategy to rally and it worked like a charm. Syracuse reeled off 18 straight points, the first 10 coming in 76 seconds thanks in part to three steals. Michael Gbinije started the surge with a 3, Cooney added two more, and Grant finished it with a resounding two-handed slam dunk to give the Orange an 21-11 lead at 12:46. Binghamton notched just four baskets in the final 10:51 of the first half as the Orange steadily pulled away. Syracuse hit nine 3-pointers, nabbed eight steals, scored 22 points off Binghamtons 11 turnovers, and out-rebounded the Bearcats 24-15, 12-5 on the offensive glass, to take a 54-30 halftime lead. Syracuse finished 13 of 36 from long range, forced 18 turnovers and notched 12 steals. Binghamton finished 6 of 22 from beyond the arc after its hot start. Three of Syracuses freshmen -- Patterson, B.J. Johnson, and Tyler Roberson -- hadnt played in five games, since the Oranges 69-50 win over Colgate on Nov. 16. That changed after Ennis picked up his second foul less than 4 minutes into the game. Patterson played 15 minutes, one more than Johnson and Roberson, who had six points. Johnson was 0 for 5, all on 3-pointers. Syracuse led by 33 midway through the second half after 3-pointers by Patterson and Gbinije and a putback by Coleman. The Oranges biggest lead was 37 in the closing minutes. Sime Vrsaljko Jersey . It was a move of some time in the making. “He hasnt thrown well, clearly some guys are being used more than him right now and the only way to get out of this funk is to pitch,” said general manager Alex Anthopoulos. Angel Correa Jersey .Y. - Pittsburgh Penguins star Sidney Crosby captured his second career Art Ross trophy on Sunday after leading the NHL in scoring this season.WINNIPEG -- The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have re-signed Canadian offensive lineman Chris Kowalczuk and Canadian defensive lineman Ryan Lucas on Monday. Kowalczuk has spent four seasons with the Bombers. He spent most of 2013 on the reserve list but playedd in four games. Fernando Torres Jersey. Lucas is entering his sixth CFL season and third with the Bombers. He played in three games in 2013 and had two tackles before he was injured July 26 against Calgary and missed the remainder of the season.Wholesale Jerseys 2020 Cheap Jerseys Free Shipping China Jerseys Cheap Nike NFL Jerseys Stitched Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Authentic Jerseys ' ' '

at has also had to cope with the death of shortstop Je

MILWAUKEE -- The end of a seven-game losing streak lifted the spirits of the Milwaukee Brewers. Adrian Clayborn Jersey . An 11-2 win Sunday over the St. Louis Cardinals gave manager Ron Roenickes team a one-game lead in the NL Central at the All-Star break. A team that has also had to cope with the death of shortstop Jean Seguras 9-month-old son now gets a breather for a few days. With Segura home on bereavement leave, Elian Herrera had a career-best five hits a day after being called up from the minors to take Seguras roster spot. The offence tied a season high with 19 hits to back a strong seven-inning outing by starter Wily Peralta. "Somebody had to step up. ... Thats huge for us, for everybody. It lets us go into the break like that and still in first place," said Peralta (10-6), who allowed three hits and struck out five before departing after seven innings because of a minor leg cramp. Like Segura, Peralta is from the Dominican Republic. The pitcher was heading home for the break, and he was planning to text Roenicke to let him know how Segura was doing. The morning started with the Brewers organization holding its annual Family Day outing, when players and coaches can bring their children to the ballpark. Players were smiling alongside their sons and daughters on a sunny afternoon, and Roenicke hoped the day would create a diversion from the teams roughest patch of the season. All-Star catcher Jonathan Lucroy said he thought the family time possibly helped the squad. "But it doesnt matter if youre winning or losing whenever youre with your family," Lucroy said. "It is a business and it is a job we have to perform, but ultimately the goal is to provide for our family, and family is most important." Peralta allowed just three singles and gave up his only run after Kolten Wong reached first on a passed ball despite striking out. Wong eventually scored on Matt Adams groundout. Peralta got a defensive boost with a runner on base in the fifth when left fielder Khris Davis made an over-the-shoulder catch on Jon Jays fly to the warning track with a man on first. "I had to step in like an extra gear ... just kind of a lucky play," Davis said. "A big play with the runner on first, hes probably going to score." Davis hit his team-high 15th homer in the bottom of the fifth for a 5-1 lead. For the Cardinals, a frustrated Carlos Martinez (2-4) allowed four runs in four innings. Making his seventh career start, Martinez gave up three walks and a balk while also hitting Carlos Gomez with a pitch in the fourth. Gomez then scored on Scooter Gennetts two-out, two-run double down the left-field line for a 4-1 lead. Martinez flicked his head back in frustration as he watched the ball take a tricky carom off the side wall on outfielder Matt Holliday. An inning earlier, Martinez tossed his bat behind his back in the direction of home plate after grounding out, leading umpire Jeff Nelson to raise his arms and stare at the 22-year-old pitcher for a few seconds. "I tried to throw the bat to the ground. I dont know if it was emotion," Martinez said through an interpreter. "I went to the umpire and said I was sorry. It was just frustration." Manager Mike Matheny said Martinez was having a tough time "finding anything." "Hes trying to harness his emotions a little bit, which will harness his control," Matheny said. "It was a rough day for him. Its one of those learning points." Milwaukee added three runs off the Cardinals bullpen to stretch the lead to 8-1 in a sixth-inning burst started by Herreras double. The Brewers are in first place at the All-Star break for just the fourth time in franchise history. NOTES: Matheny said ace Adam Wainwright could pitch in Tuesdays All-Star game despite going seven innings in Saturdays win over Milwaukee. Tuesday would be scheduled to throw in between starts. Matheny will manage the National League. ... Gennett tied a career high with three hits. ... Matheny said he wasnt sure yet how he would set up the Cardinals rotation after the All-Star break. St. Louis hosts the Dodgers on Friday. ... Milwaukee doesnt plan to make any changes in its rotation, meaning Kyle Lohse (9-4) would get the start Friday in Washington. Robert Alford Jersey . - Their offence is underperforming. Jake Matthews Jersey . Not only that, when Julian de Guzman first stepped on the pitch for Deportivo de la Coruna he became the very first Canadian to play in Spains top tier.ARLINGTON, Texas - Kendrys Morales slapped a line drive away from the Texas shift, landing it just inside the foul line in left field where the only person close to it was a security guard scrambling to get out of the way. A deft leap from the guard kept the ball in play and sent the Twins on their way to ending a 10-game road losing streak. Morales tiebreaking double in the top of the ninth off Texas closer Joakim Soria brought in pinch-runner Sam Fuld from first base in a 3-2 Minnesota victory Sunday. After the security guard dodged the ball with his right foot, the carom off a brick wall just missed his left foot as the ball rolled into shallow left field, a long way from Texas Michael Choice. A ground-rule double would have forced Fuld to stop at third instead of scoring easily, and Soria (1-3) struck out the final two hitters of the inning. "We got a couple of breaks, and we won the ballgame," Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said. Kyle Gibson (7-6) matched a career high by going eight innings and scattering eight hits. Glen Perkins struck out the side in the ninth for his 20th save in 23 chances. Robinson Chirinos had three hits for Texas, including his seventh homer of the season in the fifth inning for a 2-2 tie. Josh Willinghams second hit got the winning rally started with one out in the ninth before he was replaced by Fuld. The Twins had lost the first five games on a six-game road trip after winning four straight on a brief homestand. "It was a big game for us after a tough road trip," said Gibson, who had a 22-inning scoreless streak snapped when he allowed seven runs in just two innings to start the trip at the Los Angeles Angels. "All I did was try to give my team a chance to win and turn things around." Jorge Polanco, making his first major league start for Minnesota, had a tying double on a check-swing roller over the bag at third base in the third inning. The 20-year-old shortstop scored for a 2-1 lead on a single by Joe Mauer, who extended his hiitting streak to a season-high 10 games. Deion Jones Jersey. "They did what they had to do to win the game," Rangers manager Ron Washington said. "We didnt. Even if it was check swings and all that stuff, thats baseball. You cant control what happens sometimes." Polanco also had a strong day defensively, helping turn three double plays and taking a hit way from Elvis Andrus on a one-hop smash to his left in the eighth inning. "The kid played great at shortstop," Gardenhire said. "He has good at-bats. Hes got things to learn, but hes doing just fine." The Rangers had runners at first and third with nobody out in the second and again with one out in the seventh but didnt score either time. Choice struck out ahead of Rougned Odors double-play grounder in the second, and Choice grounded into a double play to end the seventh. Texas right-hander Colby Lewis ended a streak of 13 straight starts without a quality start of at least six innings and three earned runs or fewer, which was tied for the major league record with Seattles Steve Trout from 1988. He gave up two runs in six innings and struck out eight. Lewis left in a 2-2 tie, remaining winless in seven career starts against the Twins. It was the second rough outing of the three-game series for Soria. He gave up four runs in the ninth inning of Texas 5-4 victory on Friday. The injury-riddled Rangers (37-44) hit the halfway mark of the season with their fewest wins since 2007 and are 14 games behind Oakland in the AL West. "Were just in a situation right now where weve got guys hurt and were going to go out there and compete," Lewis said. "Thats all Wash asks us to do." NOTES: Chris Parmelees single in the sixth inning gave him a career-best nine-game hitting streak. ... The Rangers won a home series for the first time since mid-April. They had gone winless in 10 straight series at home. ... Polanco is the first Minnesota player to start his career with two extra-base hits since Rich Becker in 1993. NFL Jerseys China Wholesale Jerseys 2019 Jerseys NFL Cheap NFL Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Wholesale Cheap Jerseys From China NFL Jerseys China ' ' '

h victory in the last seven meetings -

LOS ANGELES -- Blake Griffin had 20 points and 11 rebounds during three thunderous quarters by the Los Angeles Clippers, who routed the Lakers again 142-94 Thursday night to extend their winning streak to a season-best six games. Indiana Pacers Jerseys . It was the most lopsided loss in Lakers history. Darren Collison had a team-high 24 points while starting at shooting guard for the injured Jamal Crawford. Chris Paul added 13 points and 11 assists for the Clippers, who apparently are trying to make up for decades of humiliation at the hands of the Lakers all in one season; theyve won the last two meetings by a combined 84 points. This was the Clippers largest victory margin over their longtime tormentors, and their sixth victory in the last seven meetings -- including a four-game sweep last season. The last time the teams met on Jan. 10, the Clips won 123-87. The Clippers are 35-98 against the Lakers since moving to Los Angeles from San Diego for the 1984-85 season, including 19-39 during their 15 seasons at Staples Center. Pau Gasol had 21 points for the Lakers, the home team for the third of four meetings this season between the Staples Center co-tenants. They also faced each other in the season opener, which the Lakers won 116-103. The Clippers had a 64-33 rebounding advantage and increased their lead in the Pacific Division to 4 1-2 games over Golden State. Theyre 21 1-2 ahead of the last-place Lakers (21-41). The Miami Heat are reportedly highly interested in University of Connecticut point guard Shabazz Napier and are willing to move up in Thursdays NBA Draft to get him. Kevin White Jersey . According to ESPNs Chad Ford, the Heat are aggressively pursuing options to acquire a higher pick in order to draft Napier who is widely regarded as one top point guards in this years draft. Miami owns the 26th overall pick and Ford says its unlikely Napier will fall that far with the Orlando Magic (No. 12), Atlanta Hawks (No. 15), Chicago Bulls (No. 16) and the Boston Celtics (No. 17) showing interest. LeBron James, who will become a free-agent on July 1 after opting out of his contract on Tuesday, has shown interest in Napier as well. He tweeted, "no way u take a PG in the lottery before Napier," during the NCAA title game between UConn and Kentucky in April. Acquiring Napier might help convince James to stay in South Beach. Walter Payton Jersey . ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Bills defensive tackle Kyle Williams had a few cautionary words of advice for Marcell Dareus, in welcoming his teammate back to practice Tuesday. Its time, Williams said, Dareus realized he has put his young and promising career in jeopardy after being charged in two separate arrests last month involving drug possession and a car accident. "Im hoping that this is kind of a watershed moment for him, because hes at a pivotal point," Williams said after Dareus reported for the start of the Bills three-day mandatory minicamp. "Hopefully, its to a point where its kind of an epiphany, and he comes alive and turns the corner and does his best." Williams, a team captain, is taking a tough-love approach with Dareus, a player hes spent the past three years mentoring. "I think hes heard (advice) from a lot of different levels, whether it be from his teammates or coaches, and Im sure the front office," Williams said. "So if you cant get it from those three levels, maybe youre not going to get it." Dareus, the Bills 2011 first-round draft pick, returned to practice for the first time since he and coach Doug Marrone agreed that the player take two weeks off to sort out his legal problems. Its unclear what Dareus has been doing during his time away. The Bills announced before practice that Dareus will not be made available to reporters this week so that he can focus solely on football. Dareus was escorted off the field by a team official following practice. Hes been off since May 30. Thats when shortly after participating in a voluntary practice, Dareus crashed his 2012 Jaguar into a tree near a busy suburban Buffalo intersection after allegedly racing teammate Jerry Hughes. Dareus was charged with reckless endangerment and ticketed for several traffic violations, including drag-racing. Dareus was scheduled to appear at Hamburg Town court on Tuesday, but that was pushed back to July 1 in part so that he didnt miss practice. Four weeks earlier, Dareus was arrested in his native Alabama and charged with possession of synthetic marijuana aand drug paraphernalia. Sam Acho Jersey. Rod Giddens, the attorney representing Dareus in Alabama, said hes still awaiting word from prosecutors as to whether theyll accept a plea deal in which Dareus entered a pre-trial intervention program to have the charges reduced or dismissed. Dareus troubles actually come from the end of last season when he was benched during each of the Bills final two games because he was late for team meetings. General manager Doug Whaley intends to meet with Dareus following the Bills final practice on Thursday, when the team takes a month before opening training camp July 20. "Ill just have a little sit-down with him when we leave, so everybodys on the same page," Whaley told The Associated Press. "The thing right now is hes back focused straight on football. Its great that hes back. And I think he thrives in a situation like this where its all football." On the field, Dareus returned to his familiar starting spot alongside Williams. In one team drill during the non-contact practice, Dareus showed off his power and speed by bullying past guard Kraig Urbik to break up a potential pass. On the next play, Dareus spun off Urbiks block and filled the hole to stop a run. Coach Marrone has stuck by Dareus, while expressing disappointment in saying the player has made "some poor decisions." "I just want to make sure that Im clear that everyone understands that I believe in Marcell, and I will do everything I can to make sure that we can get him on the right track," Marrone said two weeks ago. "Im going to do everything I can to help a 24-year-old man make better decisions." NOTES: LB Manny Lawson and DL Alan Branch reported for the mandatory minicamp after both skipped the teams voluntary sessions this off-season. Lawson said he found it important to take time off from football and be with his family. ... TE Scott Chandler was excused from practice for personal reasons. Starting LT Cordy Glenn was absent due to an illness. ...
